2 1.3 Historical evolution The Famikron, Lda s origins appeared in the 80s. - November 1987: Famikron, Lda. was founded - March 1988: It was the beginning of its activity, dedicated to the industrial sector of cutting tools, moulds and maquination of parts manufacturing. The area of its installations were about 220 m2, disposing the following machinery: - 3 CNC Milling Machine - 1 Grinding - 1 CNC Erosion Machine - 1 Mechanical Measurement First the number of workers were 10 people. - In 2005 The Famikron - is certificated by BVQI in the conception of moulds and tools for stamps and cuttings, maquination of parts and stamping production according to the requirements of NP EN ISO 9001:2000 norm. Now the Famikron, Lda. has 40 workers and has the following machinery.
