International scientific conference NEW TRENDS IN MEDICAL SCIENCES III The topics of the conference reflect the present state of the scientific findings in medical sciences, in the area of nonmedical health specializations taught at the FZS: Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Midwife and General nurse. 2 Important data and fees Date of the venue: 14 th October, 2015 Deadline for applications and abstract submission in electronic registration: Presenters: 7 th September, 2015 Participants: 1 st October, 2015 Acceptance of structured abstracts for the proceedings: The output of the conference will be electronic proceedings on CDs with ISBN. Abstracts have to be structured, range max characters including spaces. Detailed instructions could be found in section pokyny autorům (Guidelines for authors). The editorial board of the conference reserves the right to reject the contribution from the proceedings. Foreign participants can pay on the spot in Czech currency only. 4 Programme and conference sections: Registration: 8:00 9:00 Professional programme and negotiation in sections: 9:00 16:30* Section A - NEW TRENDS IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND PHYSIOTHERAPY The section concentrates first of all on the area of an analysis of the musculoskeletal disorders by means of biomechanical machine methods, physiotherapy and occupational therapy screening tests, techniques and methods and on the possibility of its evaluation and following intervention. Section B -NEW TRENDS IN NURSING CARE AND MIDWIFERY The section concentrates first of all on the importance of educational activities in the work of the general nurse and the midwife in community and institutional care, on causes and prevention of diseases as a result of unhealthy lifestyle and on the tasks of the nurse and midwife in homecare. Section C - POSTERS *Remark Programmes in sections will be finalised by the Editorial board of the conference according to the number and types of contributions. Guidelines for authors Structured abstracts will be accepted in Czech, Slovak or English. Structured abstract - introduction, aim, methodology, results, (discussion), conclusion, possibly thanking, and resources. An abstract has to include the title, name(s) of authors(s) including degrees, the name of institution, contact. Use text editor MS Word (files with doc, docx). Font: Times New Roman, 12 pts, single spaced, block aligned. Margins left, right, top and bottom 2.5 cm. Do not use page numbers. Title of the contribution (bold, size 14 pts, centred) One empty line bellow the title and then the text left aligned in the following order: Author/authors (the main author first). Address of the institution of the author(s), in case of more institutions use upper index for each one. address to the correspondence author (not necessarily the main author). Therapy Review, 52, Instructions for posters: Stands will be placed in the foyer (entrance hall of the rectorate UJEP, Pasteurova 1) on the day of the venue 14 th October, 2015 from 8:00. An area size A0 will be available (max. size 120 x 80), height/portrait oriented. Instructions for submissions: Final version is to be named after the surname of the main author (without diacritics), e.g. Hrach.docx. In case of more contributions by one main author (at a time or in different s), differentiate them by ordinal numbers, e.g. Horak1.doc, Horak2.doc, and so on. Save the file in pdf format under the same name at the same time, e.g. Hrach.pdf. Send both files (in both formats, e.g. Hrach.docx and Hrach.pdf) as enclosures of the same to the address [email protected], as the subject matter of the state Konference FZS of the sender has to correspond to the of the correspondence author, stated in the headline of the article thus the correspondence author confirms that all authors agree with the publication of the article and that they observed the standard rules for publishing scientific texts.
