1 Conference information no. 1 International scientific conference on transfer of knowledge and academic entrepreneurship Department of Organization and Management, Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Poznan School of Banking and ProRegio Foundation, would like to ask you kindly to accept the invitation to participate in international conference entitled: TRANSFER OF KNOW-LEDGE FROM SCIENCE SECTOR TO INDUSTRY A CHANCE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF POLAND. The conference will be held on the 23 rd of October 2013, at the Poznan School of Banking, BR building, Poznan, Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street 2a. We would like to ask you to prepare and submit papers referring to the thematic programme sections listed below, according to the instructions for authors. Submitted papers, after positive reviews, will be published in the Poznan School of Banking periodical (number of evaluation points for publication - 5). Conference aims widening and updating the knowledge in the range of commercialization of research results, transfer of knowledge and technology, as factors determining the social and economic development of Poland; presenting the scientific achievements and research results as well as exchanging opinions in the range of academic entrepreneurship, commercialization of research results, transfer of knowledge and technology; exchanging opinions on the necessity, scope and forms of developing cooperation between academic and business sectors; exchanging experience in the range of establishing and functioning of spin-off and spin-out companies; exchanging practical experience of Polish and foreign representatives of business and academic environments in the range of academic entrepreneurship, commercialization of research results, transfer of knowledge and technology, as factors determining the social and economic development of Poland. The above defined aims have set complex thematic scope of the conference, determined in the following programme sections: 1
