4 Conference Objective: Assessment of a current state of national and international security processes and new aspects of its trends. Conference topics: contemporary issues of the international relations and shaping of the global security environment (global threats and global challenges on the beginning of the 21 st century; asymmetric threats, asymmetric armed conflict as a security phenomenon of the present; approaches to the global issues solution from the point of view of the greatest world actors; comprehensive approach to crisis management - joint participation of military and non-military actors, respect and protection of human rights, development of democracy national security as the object of research, shaping and making of the national security policy Security System (SeSy) and crisis management SeSy constitution as the real requirement, or as demonstration of the subjective ambitions of the security community; shaping of the national internal security; preparation of the legislation and national strategic security documents; participation of the armed forces on securing of an internal security, position and tasks of the armed forces in conflict prevention and conflict solution requirements on capabilities of the present and future armed forces. contemporary security science and trends of its development, Conference languages: English, Czech, Polish, Russian and Slovak Conference Agenda: 16th October Conference Participants Registration Lunch Conference Opening Presentations and Discussions 1st block Break, Refreshment Presentations and Discussions 2nd block Social Evening 17th October Breakfast Presentations and Discussions 3rd block Break, Refreshment Presentations and Discussions 4th block Closing remarks Lunch

Conference fee: 70 The conference fee includes: publication in the conference proceedings, the conference proceedings on CD, lunch (2x), refreshment, social evening in Pension UNA Liptovský Ján. (in case of absence conference fee is not refundable).
