These inspections will comprises in an in-depth evaluation that assists in minimizing downtime, enhancing overall efficiency by improvement of reliability and the optimization of safety and environmental impacts of drilling programs. Our rig inspections include: Analysis of equipment condition and standards of maintenance. Opening of all major items of equipment for internal inspection. Preventive Maintenance System and current certification evaluation. 4.3 HAZARDOUS AREA MANAGEMENT, INSPECTIONS AND AUDITS OCS Group has developed comprehensive and Audit programs that are unique to the industry. Our methodology provides thorough verification utilizing detailed inspection, testing and reporting. The purpose is to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose, in good operational condition and is in compliance with international standards/requirements. (API, IEC, NEC) Hazardous Area Electrical (Ex) Management OCS Group is a leading hazardous area (Ex) equipment Company, evidenced by our loyal clientele comprised of renowned, international drilling companies. OCS Group follows IEC and NEC standards, employing CompEx certified inspectors to work on every Ex inspection. Additionally, our technical training staff ensures the professionalism of the entire inspection crew and operations personnel have the specialized knowledge and skills necessary to comprehensively complete the job with utmost client satisfaction. Our hazardous area management plan includes creating a register of every item with in the Ex location. The equipment is inventoried, logged, inspected, tagged and verified for compliance. The end result is a detailed report outlining the remedial tasks required to make the zone safe. The Hazardous Area Electrical Register (HAER) consists of several Phases to choose from. Client Preparation required is an up to date area drawings and to provide all hazardous area equipment certification and maintenance system records for review. Phase One is a detailed inspection of all Ex equipment located in the identified Hazardous Area Locations (or Zones). Phase Two is a separate scope of work of remedial task management to correct the deficient items identified in phase one. Phase Three is optional and can consist of a specific scope of work such as an Emergency Shutdown Devices (ESD), or a competency assessment of the assets workforce in a live simulation of an electrical Safe Work Practices (SWP) audit. 4.4 MAINTENANCE, REMEDIAL AND ENGINEERING OCS has developed a maintenance audit management program that aids in making your operation safer and more cost effective. Utilizing a proven 3 rd party maintenance management program (including inspections, remediation, auditing and training), leads to more efficient operations and increased competitiveness for your asset tenders. These preservation procedures will greatly depend on a company s needs to either warm stack or cold stack their assets. 10 4.7 MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE OCS Group has developed the most advanced management tracking software systems to date consisting of Project Trac, Hazard Trac, Trac, DROPs Trac, and MCT Trac. OCS will also develop any technical software that a client may want to adopt Project Trac (Project Management and Commissioning Software) This software is a complete project management system that is designed to better plan projects and supply critical information for management and supervisors to ensure the project schedule is maintained. The software can see what issues are causing delays and what needs to be conducted to have them resolved. The system has several tools that supply analytical information that alerts of problems and informs how many activities are needed daily to maintain schedule. Project Trac identifies every single task that is required, broken down to a single cable installation and testing. This detail defines the work-scope into known packages. This is currently not possible with existing systems and project schedule programs like Microsoft Project or Primavera. With this amount of detail every single work package is identified and system requirements are known. All outstanding work for a system, or a division or the whole project can be viewed at the press of a button and see what items have to be completed or are holding up the completion of a system / project Hazard Trac (Electrical Hazardous Area s Software) Hazard Trac, has standardized the inspection and reporting process to enable a detailed analysis on the company s rig, or throughout the fleet and/or total assets. With Hazard Trac, the hazardous area equipment can be downloaded directly to our client s maintenance system to facilitate the tracking of equipment and systemize corrections and maintenance management. Reporting can be generated by asset location/region and includes a score card for asset management to review the condition of the hazardous areas. Trending and statistical analysis reporting is additionally provided as a tool to ensure the client can continually improve efficiency for future inspections. This technology ensures the entire inspection and management process is more efficient and cost effective than ever before Trac (Maintenance System Interface PDA Software) Trac is a PDA inspection system that can record inspection information for any equipment or maintenance function and automatically record associated Previous Revision Date: 9 Feb OCS Group All Rights Reserved Page 10 of 24

11 information. The maintenance task can then be easily and quickly integrated into the maintenance system. This process saves a great deal of time from engineers removing the requirement to manually input information. This ensures maintenance activities and the associated information required, is recorded. Trac has the advantage over the competitors as it is capable of verifying that maintenance tasks are indeed being conducted efficiently with analytical information of information input and timing Drops Trac (Dropped Objects Software) Dropped Object inspections are required annually to ensure dropped object risk is a low as possible. More accidents occur because of dropped objects than any other item on rigs. Drops Trac is designed on a similar Basis as Hazard Trac and is a PDA Software system to improve inspections for Dropped Objects. The software has all the required check lists items required and guides the inspector to be more consistent with set fail categories and criticality. The register is automatically developed and the inspection results analyzed to help identify recurring issues and how maintenance activities / inspections can be improved MCT Trac (Multi Cable Transits Software) Multi Cable Transits (MCT) is Critical Safety Equipment that is designed to maintain boundary integrity; water tightness, Fireproof and gas tight subdivision to prevent flooding and fires spreading from adjacent spaces. MCT s are required by Classification Societies and Statutory Authorities, which is inspected during their various inspections. MCT integrity and maintenance has become an important focus in recent years due to several incidences of vessels near sinking and new legislation is to be introduced to maintain registers.
