2 Page 2 Congratulations! We are happy to confirm a cabin on the Carnival Conquest sailing September 8, 2013! The Department of Homeland Security requires Carnival to submit detailed guest information prior to sailing. Players Travel has forwarded the information to Carnival and has completed the preregistration process. By completing the pre-registration all important governmental requirements will be satisfied and will in turn expedite the check-in process so guests can start enjoying a Fun Ship cruise that much sooner! United States citizens on closed-loop cruises will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate and laminated government issued picture identification, denoting photo, name and date of birth. United States lawful permanent residents will continue to be able to use their Alien Registration card. Non-United States citizens will need a valid passport and, in some cases, a visa. If living in the United States, guests will also need the original copy of Alien Registration card and any other documentation the countries on the itinerary require due to alien status. In case of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, guests traveling without a passport will not be able to travel by air or land from a non-united States port back into the United States. Passports can sometimes be lost or misplaced during the cruise. Without a passport, guests may not be allowed in or out of the country. We recommend to make a photo copy of passport and carry it in a different location than the original. Carnival will deny boarding if guests do not have the proper documentation as listed above. Don t leave home without proper identification. The cruise lines have a zero tolerance policy regarding missing or unacceptable citizenship documents. Make sure to have all of the necessary documentation to travel. If not, boarding will be denied, no exceptions. There is no room for flexibility on this policy. Guests who fail to provide the cruise line with proper proof of citizenship and photo identification will be denied boarding and will receive no compensation. An invitation with the location and time will be included in cruise documents. Important information about the week will be provided. Dining Arrangements The entire VIP Group is scheduled to dine together each evening at 6 pm. If there are any special dining requests, submit them to Players Travel. Items Included A cabin for two, port fees and taxes. Alcoholic beverages will be complimentary while gaming in the casino. Onboard Expense Account/Embarkation Upon arrival at the pier, guests will need boarding pass, passport and credit card. An Onboard Expense Account is the cashless system used for all onboard purchases and services. The account may be set-up with either a credit card or cash. To help expedite check-in at the pier, pre-register credit card online. If guests do not pre-register a credit card, Players Travel will automatically set-up the account as a Cash Account to complete the Immigration process. Guests may change this option when checking in at the pier. Individual Booking Number (IBR#) Each cabin is assigned an Individual Booking Number to make a variety of reservations that include: Shore Excursions, Specialty Dining and Spa. 4 Page 4 Documents Required to Board the Ship The countries visited during the voyage have specific document requirements. These requirements may include passport, visa and vaccination certificates where applicable. Requirement will vary based on the ports visited as well as on citizenship. This is the guests sole responsibility to obtain and have available the proper travel and health documents that are necessary for air travel, voyage check-in and disembarkation at the various ports of call for re-entry into the appropriate country of origin. If guests do not possess the proper documentation they will be denied boarding. Many countries require a passport to be valid for six months from the completion of travel. Guests should be sure and check their passport to ensure it will be valid for this period of time. They should also make certain their passport contains blank pages for entry and exit endorsements and any visas that may be required. If necessary, guests should allow sufficient time to renew their passports and obtain additional pages. If guests have additional questions as to what identification will be required for their voyage they are encouraged to contact their local consulate for additional information and requirements. It is imperative each guest contact their local embassy for the current, correct information. It is the guests sole responsibly to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. The appropriate valid travel documents such as passports, visas, inoculation certificate and family legal documents are required for boarding and re-entry into the United States and other countries. Calls To and From The Ship The cellular system is activated and guests can make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, as well as view s and browse the Internet. International roaming rates apply and are set and billed by home carrier. Contact carrier before cruise to check rates for each service and ensure plan allows for roaming. Friends and family can contact the ship by calling 877-CCLSHIP. Forms of payment accepted: American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or Diners Club. Make ship-to-shore calls from stateroom, 24 hours a day. Fees incur per minute and will be automatically charged to onboard Sail & Sign account. All internet charges will be billed directly to onboard Sail & Sign account and pricing is identical whether using the Internet Café terminals, own laptop or other wireless devices. 5 Page 5 Gratuities For convenience, Carnival automatically charges the gratuities for dining and stateroom staff to onboard Sail & Sign account. $11.50 per day per person ($80.50 total per person) $3.70 per day Stateroom Services $5.80 per day Dining Room Services $2.00 per day Alternative Services: distributed to other kitchen and hotel service staff. For beverage purchases, 15% percent of the bill is automatically added to the Sail & Sign charge. Room Service staff may be tipped as service is rendered. Carnival Smoking Policy Smoking is prohibited in all public areas except in the designated exterior open deck areas, certain dance and jazz clubs, and designated areas in the casino. The Spa suite and stateroom accommodations are an entirely smoke free environment, including the outside balcony. Smoking is prohibited in all staterooms. Guests with a balcony stateroom may only smoke outside on their balcony. Guests will be charged $250 for any violations of the non-smoking policy. What to Pack Casual attire is the order of the day. We suggest sorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies, and for men; shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will do. We suggest wearing rubber soled, low-heeled or flat shoes for extra traction while onboard. For dining guests may want to dress up a bit and/or bring along a light sports jacket or cardigan. A hair dryer is provided at the desk/vanity in the stateroom! Not permitted in the dining room: for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, gym shorts, basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men and baseball hats. Cruise Elegant evenings: There will be two nights throughout the Fun Ship voyage where guests will have the opportunity to showcase more elegant attire. Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long), collared sport shirts; Ladies - Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants, dress shorts, jeans (no cut-offs). Cruise Elegant Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If guests wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means do so. Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; or to show off evening gowns, that's great too! Laundry Services: In addition to self-service launderettes on each ship, there is a valet laundry service on board; dry cleaning is not available. Obtain price list through room steward.

6 Page 6 Important Casino Policies Policies for Casinos at sea differ from those familiar with so we have prepared some information that may prove helpful. Read through the policies set forth by Carnival Cruise Line and feel free to call the office if there are any questions. Traveler s Checks United States and Canadian traveler s checks can be cashed on board at the Guest Service Desk. Since traveler s checks are considered as cash, there is no fee for this check cashing service. There is a $1,000 limit per guest, per cruise. Canadian traveler s checks will be cashed at the current exchange rate. ATM There may be an ATM machine on board, however these can run out of money when casino groups are sailing. Do not count on the ATM being available. ATM s are located on the Promenade Deck on all ships. Credit Card Advances Both the Guest Service Desk and the Casino offer this service. Limits are determined by the available credit limit on the guest s credit card or debit card account and is subject to approval by Global Cash Access. This cash advance will be reflected on credit card statement the same as any other cash advance. Carnival s cash advance fee will be waived for the group. Credit cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa and Discover (with PIN). Fees are subject to change without notice. Sail & Sign Cards Guests may use onboard charge card (Sail & Sign card) to purchase chips at the tables, tokens at the cage or credits at the machines to play. Guests may take a cash advance of up to $1,000 per day per person, up to a maximum of $7,000 total for a cruise on the Sail & Sign card. Carnival s service fee will be waived for the group. Cash Guests may bring cash on board but carrying large amounts of cash while traveling is not recommended. Front Money Guests may deposit money with Carnival in advance of the cruise which will be made available on board. Guests may also bring cash and deposit with the Casino Cashier as Front Money. Company checks, bank checks, certified checks, etc., will not be honored by the casino as they cannot be verified at sea. A cashier s check can be made out to Carnival Corporation. By faxing a copy of the check in advance to Carnival at , they will be able to verify there are no stops or holds. Credit Lines Having a credit line in good standing at host casino, qualifies guests to apply for a line of credit from $2,500. The credit line needs to be paid in full prior to debarkation.
