9 Refrigernt oil Function The refrigernt oil is essentil for the performnce nd longevity of the A/C loop. It lubrictes moving prts, in order to prevent seizing the compressor. It lso cools the compressor, reinforces the seling of the components nd removes impurities. It is specific to ech compressor type nd cr ppliction. Recommendtions Choose the comptible refrigernt oils (type, quntity nd viscosity) depending on compressor type, fluid nd cr ppliction. Use Vleo technicl cross-lists (compressor section nd gs dt per cr mnufcturer) for precise selection. On ech intervention, the oil shoud not remin open to mbient ir. It is essentil to dd oil when: n refilling the A/C loop with refrigernt gs (15 ml), n replcing the condenser (20 ml), n replcing the compressor (check quntity in ctlogue), n replcing the receiver dryer/hoses (15 ml), n replcing the ccumultor (50 ml), n replcing the evportor (30 ml). Slip the stem into the ir intke t the bottom of the windscreen nd empty the whole contents of the totlity of the erosol by series of some 5 second pressures, Importnt: The erosol hs to be held verticlly. 6. Stop the ventiltion. Leve it for 10 minutes. 7. Strt gin the ventiltion in mximum position for 10 minutes. 8. The tretment is finished.
