5 p. 04 Overview What is Security system and Security wire? The Security system is exclusively designed for Samsung mobile smartphone, Note, tablet devices and accessories. It functions as an anti-theft lock and also as a battery charger. The security wire is designed only for S-Pen, and S-Pen holder and it functions only anti-theft lock. Currently the security system for samsung mobile products for following devices. 18 p. 17 M-5000 series Battery backup function of M-5000BR M-5000BR (Ver. 4 / 5 ports systme) battery backup function The following shows the case that battery backup mode works. An alarm sounds when the mode starting. Built-in backup battery for Security : Built-in backup battery can keep Security function in case of blackout or power failure. Maintain for 30hours Case 1 Power cable is cut off. Case 2 DC jack is detached from control box. M-5000BR control box Power lose sensing: When AC power down is sensed, the built-in backup battery supply voltage to maintain security function. Case 3 AC power code is pulled from wall socket or cut. What is Battery backup function? M-5000BR battery backup system protects exhibits from theft, not even a power outage or other power supply down. Built-in battery backup system informs the battery backup mode with warning sound in the event of power outage, or accidental power failure. When the power failure occurs, the backup battery can maintain security function up to 30 hours. *The maintaining period can be different depending on charging status of built-in backup battery

The remote control system of M-5000R/M-5000BR support the function to pair between remote control and control boxes individually so that you can use a number of control boxes in the same place without jamming. p. 18

Please use only the AC POWER ADAPTOR specified by the manufacturer to avoid short circuit and fire. Do not spill water or liquid on the product,. and do not install it in places with water or high humidity, to avoid short circuit and fire. Also, do not connect the product to the power supply when wet (if it gets wet while connected, pull out the power plug, taking care not to touch the metal part to avoid electrocution), remove the moisture with a dry towel, and contact the A/S personnel. Never disassemble, repair, or remodel the product to avoid fire and injury. Contact the service center if repair is necessary. Do not pull out or touch the power plug and charger/sensor cable line with moist hands to avoid electric shock, short circuit, and fire. Do not use a damaged power cable or plug, a damaged charger/sensor cable, or a loose outlet to avoid electric shock, short circuit, and fire. Do not destroy the AC power cable and charging & security cable by forcefully bending it or by pressing it with a heavy object as this may cause electric shock, short circuit, or fire. Pull out the power plug immediately if an unusual sound, smell, or smoke is detected (excluding the buzzer sound from the product) and contact the service center, to prevent electric shock, short circuit, and fire. Do not touch the power plug and charging & security cable when thunder and lightning strike, to avoid electric shock. Do not wind the AC power cable and charging & security cable around your neck or body as this may cause death or serious injury.
