2 Our Story Romp n Roll originated in 2004 in Richmond, Virginia by founders and parents Michael and Babz Barnett. Since then, we have expanded nationally and internationally, allowing us to provide an all-in-one enrichment experience for children ages 3 months through 5 years old. Our centers allow children to exercise their bodies, grow their minds, and nurture their imaginations through developmentally appropriate classes, camps, special programs, and birthday parties. 3 What is Romp n Roll To Go? Romp n Roll To Go is our exciting mobile program that brings the fun and learning of Romp n Roll to area child development centers. Romp n Roll To Go Options: Center Funded Enrichment Programs Created by educators and based on Virginia and Common Core Standards of Learning In House Celebrations We bring the field trip or party to your location Public Events Crowd pleasing entertainment for grand openings, fundraisers, and festivals Field Day Indoor or outdoor activities - planning, equipment, set up, and clean up included 3

4 Center Funded Enrichment Programs We bring our hands-on enrichment programs right to your classrooms! Our enthusiastic, professional instructors have received extensive training, state required background checks, regular Tuberculosis screenings, and other requirements mandated by your center. Our program can be offered as part of your daily core curriculum, a special enrichment session, or included in your extended day program. DETAILS COST: Tuition is paid by your center and funded by parents or activity fees. SCHEDULING: Book a minimum of four classes, which can be scheduled in one day, over the course of four weeks, or over a specified period of time. BENEFITS: Students enrolled in weekly scheduled classes receive the following benefits (while enrolled a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks): Unlimited make-up classes at a local Romp n Roll branch Unlimited Open Gym visits for enrolled students Member discounts on birthday parties and more Punch card for Open Gym visits for center staff s children 4

5 Center Funded Enrichment Programs based on Virginia and Common Core Standards of Learning Gym (16 months - 3 years) Our traditional Romp n Roll To Go class encourages fitness while improving balance, coordination, strength, agility, imagination, selfexpression, and confidence. Theme related songs and activities encourage movement throughout the class. Good Sports (2½ - 6 years) Non-competitive sports skills are taught through co-operative games and activities. Aspiring athletes will learn about specific sports, the equipment needed, and game rules. Stretches and exercises that athletes use will be taught through teambuilding with a focus on sportsmanship and perseverance. Chef Rompy (3-12 years) Little chefs will learn the fundamentals of cooking while serving up healthy treats. Young chefs will use math, science, and creativity while exploring the food pyramid. This class promotes independence and positive eating habits that will last a lifetime! Silly Science (3-12 years) Science FUNdamentals at their best! Your child will learn basic scientific concepts by exploring, discovering, and creating hands-on experiments. Each activity will delight and engage emerging scientists on a whole new level. 5

6 In House Celebrations and Events Let us transform your space into a party zone by bringing the party to you! Our parties can be used for Back to School bashes, Parents Night Out, class rewards, New Year s Eve bashes, graduations, end of the school year parties, or summer kick offs. They can be held during the school day or as a night-time event. Our trained instructors will bring a sound system with age appropriate music for lots of moving and dancing. Once the party is started, we ll keep it going with instructor-led party games, activities, and music. Each party ends with our popular bubble dance party! We let teachers and parents visit and have fun, while we keep the kids busy playing, dancing and having a great time together! 7 Public Events Need help planning an event? Let Romp n Roll help and get the party started! We can add what will draw both parents and students to your event, whether it s your Fall Festival, Spring Fling, or other fundraising event, our two trained instructors can emcee by leading movement and art activities, playing music, announcing raffles, and more! We keep the kids busy playing, dancing and having a great time while making your event a memorable one. Students will be sure to go home saying their favorite part of the event was Romp n Roll! Our events can be held indoors or outdoors any time of the year. Our tents have been popular with all ages at the Tomato Festival, Strawberry Fair, Touch-a-Truck, and Diggity Fest. 8 Field Day What s more fun than having a field day at your preschool? Having Romp n Roll run your field day! We have trained instructors and all the appropriate equipment to make your field day extra special! From toddlers to Pre-K, we have the perfect games and relays for team building and having lots of fun. We will keep the kids moving the whole time with age-appropriate activities chosen just for them! 9 Field Trips to Romp n Roll Ages 15 months - 6 years old Looking for a field trip somewhere fun and educational that is open rain or shine? Our three locations in Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and the West End may have openings to accommodate multiple classes. Keep track of all of your students at one time in one space while providing them with enrichment that can t be duplicated. Private Class Options Gym Good Sports Tumble Tunes Art/Specialty Summer Camps June - August 3 hours of gym, music, and art Snack included Open Gym Private use or shared space options. Use of our vaults, airlog, ramps, monkey bars, and more on our padded floor gym. 16

10 Play for a Purpose FUNdraising at its best! Play for a Purpose is an innovative fundraising program for child-focused nonprofit organizations in the Richmond area that are seeking fundraising opportunities. The concept is rather simple: Romp n Roll will host a private event for your organization at a mutually agreeable day and time. We have three locations in the Richmond area that you can choose from - Midlothian, West End, and Mechanicsville. Children six years and younger and their guardians will be invited to play at Romp n Roll during the event. Our ramps, slides, trapeze, monkey bars and other gymnastics equipment will be available for all to enjoy! You will set the admission price ($7 - $10 recommended) and Romp n Roll will give 75% of the total admission fees collected to your organization. If attendees purchase other services from us during the event (i.e., sign up for a membership or book a private birthday party), Romp n Roll will donate 10% of each sale to your organization.
