8 Volunteer Package Volunteer Uniform Official volunteer shirt, layering piece, and hat/visor You are welcome to wear your blue volunteer jacket from 13 or 14 while on shift Wear khaki (beige) pants, shorts, capris, skirts, skorts Uniform is only to be worn when you are working Please bring extra shirt if you intend to watch golf before or after your shift Uniform exchanges this Thursday July 23 rd at St. Mary s (6:30 pm 8:30 pm), Sunday August 2 nd in the Volunteer Tent at Canyon Meadows (10:00 am Noon), or all throughout Tournament Week, while sizes last Additional items will be on sale starting Sunday August 2 nd Volunteer Card Please take the time to review the volunteer card

10 Parking Volunteers will park at St. Mary s University College (on the grass field behind the school) Shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day between St. Mary s and Canyon Meadows Volunteers will enter from the main admissions tent Please only use the volunteer lot on days you are volunteering, as there is not enough room to accommodate all volunteers at once! For days that you are not volunteering, there are free shuttles running from the Anderson LRT station during the following times: Wed August 5, & Thurs August 6 7:00 am - 8:00 pm Fri August 7, Sat August 8, & Sun August 9 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

11 Volunteer Centre Located between the 1 st and 7 th holes Hours of Operations: Wed/Thurs 5:15 am until 6:00 pm Fri to Sun 6:45 am until 5:00 pm Daily newsletter to keep you up to date Daily raffle prize giveaways Week long charity raffle with all proceeds going to Alberta children & youth charities All remaining volunteer apparel will be for sale Please do not use the volunteer centre on days you are not volunteering Shift check-in will be communicated by your chairperson

13 Food & Beverage (cont d) There is a concession stand in the Volunteer Centre that offers items for sale at a discounted price The Volunteer Appreciation Party will take place on Saturday August 8 from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Please join us for a little music and some free food!

14 Mobile Device & Camera Policy Keep your mobile device on silent while on the grounds No video recording is allowed on a mobile device or recording device Photography is only allowed during Pro-Am rounds on Wednesday August 5 or Thursday August 6 If you notice spectators using their cell phones for photography during the weekend, politely remind them photography is not allowed If you notice spectators with cameras Friday Sunday remind them cameras are not allowed on the grounds during tournament days; if they continue to take photos please notify your committee chair Please do not take photos while on shift

15 Additional Information Smoking Policy Volunteers should refrain from smoking near spectators while wearing a volunteer uniform. Alcohol Policy Volunteers should not consume any alcoholic beverages while on duty Weather When Weather Warning horn sound, volunteers should spread the word to spectators around their location that dangerous weather is in the area. One prolonged note of an air horn, for a dangerous situation (lightning), Resumption of play will be signaled by two (2) short notes of an air horn

16 Final Tips Wear comfortable shoes Check the weather forecast before your leave for you shift to help you dress accordingly Remember sunscreen Remember to put your phone on silent when you enter the grounds Have fun!
