4 Page 4 Beloved Disciple and Friend Passes Away Brad Walker Bynum November 4, January 25, 2015 Fort Walton Beach, Florida Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of one of his Saints. Psalms 116:15

5 Page 5 Our dear brother, Brad Bynum, passed away from a heart attack while running on Sunday, January 25th. Brad served as an Evangelist in the Orlando Church in the early 1990 s. He also served on staff and in various ministry roles in several other churches including Miami and Boston. Most recently he was the Administrator of a skilled nursing facility in Crestview, Florida. Brad is survived by his mother, Martha Bynum; his wife, Lori; his children Justin (Bryanna), Jeff and Ben Bynum; his brother Darden (Carol); his sister Anna Johnson (Jimmy); nephews Bradley, Cameron, Grant (Lois), Jake, Luke, Will, Cain, and niece Brenna; and his grandchildren, Sam and Darcy Bynum. He is predeceased by his father Clyde Bynum. Brad was born at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio on November 4, 1954 to Clyde and Martha Bynum. He graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1972, earned his BSW from Florida State University in 1977 and received a Masters in Old Testament Theology from Abilene Christian University. Brad married Lori Gilmore, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life on January 5, They welcomed three sons and two grandchildren into their warm and loving family. Brad was a devoted husband, father and grandfather "Papa". He was an avid runner, and loved the beach. In the past few years, Brad served the Fort Walton Beach area in many capacities, including Chaplain of the Sheriff's Department, blessing the Destin Fishing Fleet, and as a member of the Fort Walton Beach Historical Committee. Additionally, he helped turn the vision of the Hope Medical Clinic, which today provides medical care for the needy and working uninsured, into a reality. Brad loved God with all his heart and devoted his life to serving others. Humble, kind, and with an infectious smile, Brad was beloved by all who were fortunate to have him enter their life. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st in Destin.
