12 The UC Application The UC application is a holistic applicationeverything is considered when making an admission decision, including the personal statement. Students need to take their time to fill out the application thoroughly, including: o Personal information o Academic history (students must report all academic courses completed including repeated courses.) Use transcript(s) don t guess about grades o Activities & Awards, plus quantitative or qualitative explanations
