3 2 P a g e SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS You must use the desktop version of Internet Explorer 8 or greater. Other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox are not supported. **Please note that if you are using Windows 8 or Windows 10, then you must make sure to open the desktop version of Internet Explorer. Accessing the desktop version of Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and Windows 10 The desktop version of Internet Explorer can be accessed by clicking on the start menu, then typing in Internet Explorer and clicking it. Windows 8 Windows 10 Both Java and the Citrix Receiver are also required and will be discussed in length throughout the rest of this guide.

4 3 P a g e INSTALLING JAVA 1. To verify if Java is installed click on the Windows icon to open the start menu, then type in Java. If it appears here, then you have Java installed and can proceed to Step Navigate to 3. Click Free Java Download. **Please note that the version might be different from the version in the picture below.

5 4 P a g e 4. Click Agree and Start Free Download. 5. Click to Run the downloaded file when prompted. 6. Follow the prompts to complete the Java installation.

6 5 P a g e 7. Now, click on the Windows icon to open the start menu, then type in Java again. This time click it to open it. 8. Navigate to the Security tab, and then click Edit Site List

7 6 P a g e 9. Click Add, then type in the following information under the Location section: Click OK to close this window and save the changes. 11. Next open Internet Explorer and navigate to Manage add-ons either from the Tools menu or from the gear icon in the upper right corner of Internet Explorer. 12. Choose All add-ons from the Show dropdown box in the lower left corner of the window.

8 7 P a g e 13. Scroll down towards the bottom of the list and make sure that all entries beginning with Java are Enabled. If one of the entries beginning with Java is Disabled, then right-click it and then click Enable.

9 8 P a g e INSTALLING THE CITRIX RECEIVER 1. Navigate to 2. Click to Download the Citrix Receiver for Windows. 3. Click to Run the downloaded file when prompted. 4. Follow the prompts to complete the Citrix Receiver installation. If prompted to Add an Account, then click Cancel.

10 9 P a g e LOGGING INTO RAP AND CONFIGURING INTERNET EXPLORER 1. Navigate to Internet options either from the Tools menu or from the gear icon in the upper right corner of Internet Explorer. 2. Click on the Privacy tab, and then uncheck Turn on Pop-up Blocker.

11 10 P a g e 3. Next navigate to the Security tab. 4. Click Trusted sites, and then click Sites. 5. Type the following address into the section titled Add this website to the zone: 6. Click Add, and then click Close. 7. Click OK at the bottom of the Internet Options window to save the changes we made.

12 11 P a g e 8. Navigate to Compatibility View settings either from the Tools menu or from the gear icon in the upper right corner of Internet Explorer. 9. Input northshorelij.com into the Add this website field. 10. Click Add, then click Close.

Next navigate to Make sure the Authentication Method is always set to PIN + token code to login to the full version of the Remote Access Portal. **Please note that logging into RAP with your Universal ID and Password will limit you to accessing the Employee Intranet, EMIL, Outlook Web, Sunrise Sandbox and mytime/kronos-manager access only. 13. Input your Universal ID. 14. If you are using an RSA Soft Token (Phone app) then input your pin into the app and then click the arrow to generate an 8 digit token code. Input only that 8 digit code into the Remote Access Portal under the PIN + TokenCode field without spaces. **Please note that since you put your pin into the phone, you do not need to input it again into RAP. 15. If you are using an RSA Hard Token (Keychain device) then input your pin combined with the 6 digit token code into the PIN + TokenCode field without spaces. 16. Now click Sign In.

14 13 P a g e 17. The following window should appear while several pieces of software are installed. 18. If you see the following window appear, place a checkmark next to Do not show this again and then click Run. 19. If you see the following window appear, click Yes.

15 14 P a g e 20. When the following window appears, click Always. 21. Next click Preferences in the upper right corner of the Remote Access Portal. 22. Click the Advanced tab. 23. Click Configure Remote SSO.

16 15 P a g e 24. Choose the CitrixProdSSO option by placing a dot in the radio button next to this entry, then click Configure 25. Input your Universal password into the Password field, and then click Save Changes. 26. Click Home to return to the list of Web Bookmarks. 27. Click the application that you would like to launch.
