2 ACCOMMODATION Accommodation for all students will be arranged at the PK Riga Hotel. The price for a Double Room with Single use is 61 EURO per night and for a Double / Twin Room is 66 EURO. These prices include a breakfast buffet, Wi-Fi (new coverage) and VAT. The price for a room including a dinner voucher (3 course meal in the Restaurant Degustare ) is: Double with single use is 80 EURO and Double / Twin 85 EURO. To make your stay even more comfortable the following facilities are available by booking ahead: Transfer to/from the airport - 17 EUR per car one way (please provide exact flight details). Upgrade to a Business Room - 30 EUR per night (upgrade includes a more spacious room, free minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, bathrobes, slippers and additional bathroom amenities). Upgrade to Executive Room - 50 EUR per night (upgrade includes two separate rooms - bedroom and living room, free minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, bathrobes, slippers, additional bathroom amenities and complimentary hour in Sauna & Jacuzzi area). Rate includes VAT. MEALS The PK Riga Hotel offers an early breakfast in the Restaurant Degustare from 0630Hrs. Lunches are served at the LNDA cafeteria. The average price for lunch and coffee breaks per day is 7 Euros. All meals and coffee breaks are at participants own expense. 3 TRANSPORTATION In order to get from Riga airport to the Hotel PK Riga Hotel, please consider the following: Shuttle Bus service Our recommendation is to use the Shuttle Bus service (Green bus that you can see in the picture below) which costs 5 Euro each way. The route starts and finishes near the exit of the Schengen arrivals hall (in front of the exit from the airport arrivals Sector E hall) at Riga airport. The Shuttle Bus runs according to a regular timetable with the first bus of the day leaving the airport bright and early at 0530Hrs in the morning and the last one leaving the airport at 0045Hrs. Buses depart every 30 minutes and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes, depending upon traffic. Airport Express tickets can be bought online at together with flight tickets. Alternatively, tickets can be acquired at airbaltic's offices at Riga airport, direct from the bus driver and in the Hotel PK Riga Hotel. Tickets are valid for the stated date and route, for one journey only. Taxi Alternatively you can take an Air Baltic Taxi (shown above). The normal price for taxi service Airport-PK Riga Hotel is around 17 EUR or LVL. If somebody asks more than please do not take this taxi and take another one. In case of another kind of arrival to Riga or for any other reason we would advise to use Baltic Taxi which is secure and financially reliable taxi service. Calling a taxi: (+371) or ask your hotel manager. Daily transportation from Hotel PK Riga Hotel to LNDA and back will be provided by LNDA military transport. Timings will be coordinated prior to and during the course. Please be on time! 3

4 COURSE FEE The course fee per week is LVL (approx. 270 Euros). There are two payment options. All participants can make their payment via credit card by arrival to LNDA or by bank transfer in advance (prepayment). As soon as participants are admitted to the course, they are in the position to receive an invoice (Prepayment invoice). PASSPORT AND VISA Participants or their sending authorities are responsible for their own visa arrangements. It is advisable to apply for visa, in case if you need it as soon as you have been admitted to the course. You are required to bring a valid passport to Latvia. CERTIFICATE & INSURANCE Participants are requested to bring ID card. Dental and medical expenses must be paid by the individuals. All participants are advised to have appropriate medical insurance.
