1 World Summit of Legislators 2014 Mexico City, June 6 th -8 th Key information for Delegates Registration The online Registration form for the World Summit of Legislators 2014 is now accessible on To access it you will be given individual usernames and passwords. If you do not have one yet, or have any enquiry about the online registration system, please send an to [email protected]. IMPORTANT The individual usernames allow the delegates to modify their accommodation bookings and update all the submitted information. We ll be grateful if you could use the online system if you need to change or add the information contained in the form. The information posted in the registration system will be used in the ID Badges that the delegates must wear during all Summit events and to organise airport-hotel-airport transportation, to assist with any special dietary requests and to book the hotels. Among the data requested are the biographies and pictures that will be distributed during the meeting. Having your travel and personal details on advance will help us to give you a better service. Once you have registered with the online system we can begin to book rooms and liaise with you with regard to flights.

2 Arrivals FLIGHTS Most of you will be responsible for your own flight arrangements, however please let us know the details so that we can arrange airport pickups as suitable. AIRPORT ARRIVAL IN MEXICO IMMIGRATION ***IMPORTANT **) Foreign travelers will be required to fill in an immigration form. YOU MUST PRESENT THIS TO THE HOTEL WHEN YOU CHECK IN. THE HOTEL WILL NEED TO USE THIS TO REGISTER YOU. You will also need to show this document at customs when you leave the country. AIRPORT PICK UP There will be shuttle buses available at regular intervals to take delegates (and foreign media) from the airport to the relevant hotels. Please look out for these buses. Summit staff will be on hand at the airport to assist with immigration issues and to speed up the process. If you have arranged for Embassy staff to pick you up please advise us as this will help us with transport arrangements and allow us to manage the buses more efficiently. If you decide to take a taxi please use one of the registered taxi companies at the airport. They have set charges and you pay in advance at a taxi company desk and they provide you with a voucher to present to the relevant company driver. BUSES FROM THE HOTELS TO THE SUMMIT Buses will take delegates from the assigned hotels to the Summit venue. Information on departure times will be shown in your hotel lobby. These buses will leave the hotel to arrive at the Summit venue before the session starts. If you arrive mid way through the Summit you will need to arrange your own transport to the event. International Media (staying at the Sheraton) will have a separate allocated bus as this will arrive at the Summit venue in advance of the main delegates. BUSES FROM THE SUMMIT TO THE EVENING EVENTS OR BACK TO THE HOTELS Buses will be provided by the organisers to take delegates and media back to the hotels and also to the evening events.

4 Summit venue plenary sessions All WSL2014 plenary sessions will be held at the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies. The parallel sessions will take place in nearby rooms within the Legislative Palace. The National Government, the Mexico City Government and the Congress will host one reception each on the nights of the 6th, 7th and 8th of June. Access to the venues (ID Badges) Delegates must wear a WSL2014 ID Badge to gain access to all premises. The badges will be printed and handed at the booths in the Summit hotels. Although we will have a small number of booths at the entrance of the Chamber of Deputies, we kindly ask all delegates to get their ID Badges at the Hotels to follow the security rules of the Congress and to avoid long queuing times. The information for the badges is linked with the online registration form. You will help us to speed-up registration times by completing the most fields in the form. Electronic Devices and Computers Please limit the number of electronic devices you take into the Congress (i.e. lap top computers, IPADs etc). 5 you register its model and number when you receive your registration badges at your assigned hotels. We need this information in advance to reduce security queues on entrance to the Summit. Food at the Summit On the first day there will be refreshments provided in the main entrance to the Congress in advance to the event starting. This will not be a formal meal however and you may want to have lunch before arrival. On the second and third day there will be sit down lunch. Please advise us in advance if you have special dietary requirements you can do this on the registration form. International Media Please note that International Media will be attending the Summit. They will be forging close links with suitable delegates during the Summit and will be attending the hospitality events. Translation The main plenary sessions will be conducted in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese and Arabic. Parallel session will be conducted in English, Spanish and French. General Information Welcome to México City Considered as one of the major economies of Latin America. 7 8. Ground Transportation Globe International will provide ground transportation during the Summit, our staff will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to the venue, hotels and specials dinners. There will also be scheduled buses to take legislators to the airport on departure.
