10 Projects William Sutton Estate, London William Sutton Estate Kensington and Chelsea, London. two separate residential areas for affordable (20,800 m 2 ) and private accommodation (11,607 m 2 ) affordable buildings contain 329 apartments plus ancillary residential facilities at ground floor private accommodation comprises 115 units plus retail and leisure facilities. My role: set out the energy strategy following the Mayor s Energy Hierarchy (including renewables) preparation of the Sustainability Appraisal demonstrating how principles incorporated in the design contribute to ensuring sustainability throughout construction and use modelled the development and ran a compliance check with Part L 2010 at different stages of the energy hierarchy based on the Mayor s London Plan Code for Sustainable Homes pre-assessments B2 E3
