1 Image Uploader Help First, if you re using Microsoft Internet Explorer Please make the following changes to your browser settings. Some security settings in your Internet Explorer browser might cause you some problems when using our application. Please set your browser with the following settings to make working with NVMS a better experience. Mixed Content Error Alert This alert is caused by the order chart that is loaded on your home page. It accesses a non secure URL to check your flash version and it will ask you to install flash if you don t already have it loaded. Since you are logged in to a secure site ( Internet Explorer throws this alert every time you access your home page. To fix this error, you have two options. 1) Remove this box from your home page. To remove this box from your home page, click the X in the upper right hand corner of the Orders This Year dashboard box. (You can do this with any box on your homepage. You may also drag these boxes up and down your dashboard to any position you wish.) 2) Set your browser settings to suppress this error. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options in your tool bar. Click the Security tab and then make sure the Internet icon is highlighted.

2 Click the Custom level button Scroll down until you see the option Display mixed content. Click the Enable option here and then click OK.

3 Make NVMS a Trusted Site With all the Worms, Trojans and Viruses out there it s best to set NVMS as a trusted site. This will allow you to control security for sites that you trust and then all other sites will fall into the Internet group. Plus NVMS uses a lot of client scripting that some security programs might have problems with. Setting NVMS as a trusted site should allow the browser to run smoothly. To set NVMS as a Trusted Site, In Internet Explorer, go to Tools/Internet Options in your tool bar. Click the Security tab and then make sure the Trusted Sites icon is highlighted. Click the Sites button and then make sure that our site, is in your trusted sites list. If it s not in the list, add it in the top input field and then click the add button (see image below).

4 Once you ve added the site and it appears in the Websites list, click the close button. Before you exit the Internet Options, make sure that your Trusted sites are set to a Low or Mid Low level. You can click the Default Level button and then move the slider down to Low or Mid Low. Once you make these settings your browser should run smoothly with the NVMS application. 5 Help With Installing the Image Uploader The Image Uploader component that is used by NVMS is a component written by Aurigma and is also used by sites like Facebook and MySpace. This component allows you to download multiple images all at once with an easy to use interface. Once you make the changes above to your trusted site settings, you should try to open the Image Upload page again to see if the component will install automatically. Microsoft Internet Explorer If you use Internet Explorer you will see the following windows when installing the image uploader for the first time:

6 You will notice a bar at the top of the window (highlighted above) if you have not set NVMS as a trusted site (Please make sure that you allow ActiveX objects in your internet option settings). Click on this bar and click Install ActiveX Object. This will start the install of the Image Uploader object. You will see a window like this: Click the Install button to start the software installation. Once the software is installed successfully, you will be able to upload your photos. The screen should look like this:

7 Mozilla Firefox If you use Mozilla Firefox for your browser, you will see a screen like the one below when the object is installing for the first time. The only requirement for Firefox is that you have the latest Java runtime software installed. If you need the updated Java software, go here and click the Free Java Download button. If All Else Fails If your Image Uploader is still not installing, you can download the redistributable software download by clicking the following link: Open the zip file and install the file inside.
