Preparation 2 Scope CPU SIMATIC Micro Memory Card required for operation? PN/DP yes V3.2 IM PN yes V7.0 As of firmware version The order number can be found in the manuals, e.g. the operating instructions CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Installation ( Requirements You have an S7 300 station consisting of a power supply module and one CPU PN/DP central module, as described in the Getting Started document "CPU 314C-2 PN/DP, PN/DP, PN/DP, PN/DP: Configuring the PROFINET interface". STEP 7 V5.5 is completely installed on your programming device (PG). You are familiar with STEP 7. The PG is connected to the PROFINET IO. WARNING Operation of an S7-300 as part of plants or systems is subject to special rules and regulations, which depend on its field of application. Please make sure that you adhere to the applicable safety and accident prevention regulations, for example IEC 204 (emergency stop systems). You risk severe injury, or damage to machines and equipment if you ignore these regulations. Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E

Learning units Step: Install the ET 200S Installing and grounding the mounting rail 1. Install the mounting rail (35 x 7.5 mm or 15 mm) with a length of at least 210 mm on a solid surface. 2. Connect the rail to the protective conductor. Stipulated cross-section of the cable connection to the protective conductor: at least 10 mm Mount the various modules onto the rail, starting on the left side (hang in - swivel down - slide to left). Follow the following sequence: Interface module IM151-3 PN Terminal module TM-P15N23-A1 2 x terminal module TM-E15N24-A1 Terminal module TM-P15N23-A1 2 x terminal module TM-E15N24-A1 Terminating module Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Wiring and assembling ET 200S Step: Wiring and assembling ET 200S WARNING Ensure the ET 200S is completely disconnected before wiring! You may come into contact with live wires if the ET 200S is connected to the power supply. Procedure 1. Wire the ET 200S as shown below: V DC electronics power supply 2 24 V DC sensor supply potential group V DC potential group 2 2. Connect the PROFINET interface of the PROFINET I/O controller (e.g. port 2 of the PN interface of a CPU PN/DP) to the PROFINET interface of the I/O device (e.g. port 1 of the PN interface of the IM151-3 PN) via an Industrial Ethernet twisted pair cable. 3. Insert the power and electronic modules into the terminal modules. 12 Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Configuring ET 200S Step: Configuring ET 200S Procedure 1. Run SIMATIC Manager and open the project which you created in Getting Started "CPU 314C-2 PN/DP, PN/DP, PN/DP, PN/DP: Configuring the PROFINET interface". 2. Drag-and-drop IM151-3 PN from the hardware catalog: PROFINET IO > I/O > ET 200S to the PROFINET I/O system. 3. From the hardware catalog, drag-and-drop the various ET 200S modules into the configuration table in accordance with the physical structure of the PROFINET I/O device. 4. Save and compile the Hardware Configuration. Select Station > Save and Compile. Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Insert the SIMATIC Micro Memory Card and switch on the device Step: Insert the SIMATIC Micro Memory Card and switch on the device Procedure 1. If desired, you can insert a SIMATIC Micro Memory Card into the IM151-3 PN. Note Delete the content of a SIMATIC Micro Memory Card with unknown content before you use it in the programming device. 2. Switch on the power supply for the CPU PN/DP. Result: Reaction of the status LEDs on the CPU PN/DP: 5V DC lit SF off 3. Switch on the power supply for the IM151-3 PN and the PM-E. Result: Reaction of the status LEDs on the IM151-3 PN: BF flashes ON is lit LINK is lit The SF LEDs of all electronics modules are also lit. 14 Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Assign a name to the IO device Step: Assign a name to the IO device Procedure 1. In HW Config, open the dialog Properties - IM151-3 PN. 2. Enter the device name of the I/O device. 3. Save and compile the HW configuration. Select Station > Save and compile. Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Assign a name to the IO device 4. To transfer the name configuration to IM151-3 PN, you need an online PROFINET connection to the I/O device. Select PLC > Ethernet > Assign device name to transfer the device name to the IM151-3 PN. 16 Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Assign a name to the IO device 5. When you use more than one I/O device, the system displays all I/O devices in the Assign device name dialog box. In this case, compare the MAC address of the device with the MAC address displayed. Select the correct I/O device. On the Assign device name dialog box, click Assign name. The device name is saved in the IM151-3 PN interface module (optionally also on an inserted SIMATIC Micro Memory Card). Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Assign a name to the IO device 6. The dialog box indicates the device name you assigned. 7. Download the hardware configuration to the CPU PN/DP. Select PLC > Download to module. The CPU automatically assigns an IP address to the IO device after it has received this download. The I/O device is ready for cyclic data exchange once the subnet is properly installed and the configuration corresponds to the physical structure of the I/O device. The BF2 LED starts to flash once you have downloaded the hardware configuration. The BF2 LED on the CPU and the flashing BF LED of the I/O device go out once the CPU has accepted the I/O device. Leave the CPU in STOP until you have written the user program and downloaded it to the CPU. 18 Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Download user program and configuration to the CPU Step: Download user program and configuration to the CPU Procedure 1. Create the user program in the LAD/STL/FBD editor in OB Save the user program (OB 1). 3. Close the LAD/STL/FBD editor. 4. Select the "Blocks" folder. 5. Download all blocks to the CPU. 6. Select PLC > Download. Example 1: Reading an input and controlling an output STL U E 0.0 U M 2.0 S A 0.0 When input bit 0.0 is set and memory bit 2.0 is set, then set output bit 0.0 Example 2: Transferring an input byte to an output byte: STL L PEB 0 T PAB 0 Load I/O input byte 0 to the accumulator (bits 0.0 to 0.7) Write bits 0.0 to 0.7 from accumulator to I/O input byte 0. Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
Learning units Step: Switch CPU to RUN and monitor functions Step: Switch CPU to RUN and monitor functions Procedure 1. Switch the CPU to "RUN". 2. You have correctly completed commissioning. The status of certain key status LEDs at CPU PN/DP and ET 200S is as follows: CPU PN/DP: DC5V: is lit SF: Off BF2: Off LINK: Lit ET 200S: SF: Off BF: Off ON: Lit LINK: Lit 3. Verify the station functions and debug the user program. 20 Getting Started, 08/2011, A5E
