3 invitation to the industry Dear Sir / Madam, The organiser of the NeuroGASTRO 2015 has appointed CPO HANSER SERVICE to arrange a technical exhibition in connection with the NeuroGASTRO 2015 and to offer various sponsorship options for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In return, CPO HANSER SERVICE provides services, such as the organisation of the congress, support of the scientific secretariat, editing of congress publications (announcements and final programme of the congress) and the congress website. Further services contain delegate registration and abstract handling. In addition, CPO HANSER SERVICE pays a license fee to the organiser of the congress. Consequently, CPO HANSER SERVICE acts as the organizer of the technical exhibition and offers various sponsorship options on behalf of its own. These services include: n exhibition space n events in the individual responsibility of the companies, such as satellite symposia n invitation of congress delegates by covering their congress fees n advertisement in the congress publications and on the congress website n signage at the congress venue n inserts in congress bags n image promotion / brand advertisement These services will be contracted without exception by CPO HANSER SERVICE based on the conditions included in this brochure. The above supports the common effort of the congress organiser and CPO HANSER SERVICE to transparently present the circumstances and industrial relations in connection with the pharmaceutical code of conduct. 4 welcome address The European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility (ESNM) would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming European Neurogastroenterology and Motility Meeting to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on 4 6 June 2015 (NeuroGASTRO 2015). The purpose of this meeting is to start a new series of Europe-based Neurogastroenterology meeting every two years, and to bring together leading experts and emerging young investigators actively involved in neurogastroenterology, digestive motility and functional gastrointestinal diseases from Europe and from all around the world to discuss cutting-edge research. Giovanni Barbara The meeting is also aimed at attracting physicians and health care professionals with an interest in these common pathological conditions whose diagnosis and treatment require updated knowledge in this rapidly growing area of Medicine. The scientific committee has produced an exciting and comprehensive program. Attention has been paid to address basic, translational and clinical aspects of hot topics of neurogastroenterology including: molecular and environmental factors influencing neuromuscular and other components of the gut wall, stress mechanisms of gastrointestinal functional and motility disorders, pain mechanisms, nutrient / microbiome sensing and function, epidemiological, pathophysiological and clinical aspects of functional esophago-gastro-intestinal disorders, new technologies for the assessment of esophago-gastro-intestinal motility and perception, hortcomings and promises of current and future therapies. 6 information for sponsors and exhibitors The Congress organiser is offering companies the opportunity to become sponsors for the NeuroGASTRO 2015 in Istanbul enabling them to promote their scientific endeavours. In the following, various sponsorship options are listed from which sponsors may select different elements. In addition to the general sponsorship of single items the congress organiser is offering companies the opportunity to become a sponsor of different categories. For further details please see page 7. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the NeuroGASTRO 2015, please contact our sponsoring and exhibition department in our Berlin office: Ms. Antje Veldhues Phone: aveldhues@cpo-hanser.de CPO HANSER SERVICE will conclude a sponsorship contract under German law with the sponsor. In principle all sponsors will be treated on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Principal Sponsors of the NeuroGASTRO 2015 will have first choice, Major Sponsors of the NeuroGASTRO 2015 second choice and all others the next choice. Arrangements for sponsorship payments are as follows: Prices are subject to the statutory VAT rate in the respective country. CPO HANSER SERVICE will invoice sponsors as follows: 50% of the invoice amount immediately 30% of the invoice amount until 10 November % of the amount until 31 January 2015 Place of performance is Istanbul, Turkey and venue of jurisdiction is Hamburg. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. 6

7 categories of sponsors Sponsors for the NeuroGastro 2015 Sponsors are free to make their selection from the list of sponsorship options. Sponsors supporting the congress to a certain value will fall into different categories. Major Sponsors will also be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. Major Sponsors will enjoy the following additional benefits: n Preferred choice of date for an Industry Sponsored Symposium after Principal Sponsors have made their choice n Priority choice of a block hotel booking after Principal Sponsors have made their selection n Priority choice of exhibition space at the Congress Venue after Principal Sponsors have made their selection n named as Major Sponsor in all congress publications, on the congress website and on-site n sponsors may print three posters for the Industry Sponsored Symposium and display these at the Congress Venue on the day of the Symposium (incl. poster walls) In principle all sponsors will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. Principal Sponsors have first choice, Major Sponsors have second choice and every other Sponsor the next choice up to the deadline listed. In case the sponsor is paying registration fees for invited participants it cannot be set off against the fee for Principal and Major Sponsors. Registration fees must in all cases be paid separately. Contracts concerning the services to be provided to the different sponsors are to be concluded with CPO HANSER SERVICE. 8

Duration: 1,5 hours. 15 general conditions Registration of exhibition space Please use the registration form enclosed with this brochure to make your binding application to take part in the technical exhibition and send it to the CPO HANSER SERVICE exhibition office by 31 December Decisions regarding admission of exhibitors and exhibits and on allocation of space will be made by CPO HANSER SERVICE in consultation with the congress organiser. Sponsorship contracts will be taken in account in the process of allocating space. The final allocation of space other than that determined by sponsorship contract will be made by end of January Withdrawal of application for exhibition space The exhibitor is entitled to withdraw the application up to the time when the registration is confirmed. In this case, a handling fee of EUR 250 plus statutory VAT is payable. Once the registration is confirmed, the exhibitor may no longer withdraw the application or reduce the size of the stand requested. The full stand rental plus any ancillary expenses incurred are payable in total. If the exhibitor does not take part in the exhibition and arranges for another exhibitor to take over the stand area instead, the exhibitor shall be liable to pay a termination fee of 20 % of the stand rental.
