4 General Terms and Conditions 01. The applicant for prequalification must be a Registered/Licensed Organization/Partnership Firm/Sole Proprietor/Individual. 02. The applicant must have a proven track record of minimum 5 years with reputed clients in rendering GARDEN MAINTENANCE services. 03. Experience only in respect of garden maintenances will be counted. 04. The applicant must have a minimum annual turnover of Rs lacs during each of the last three financial years. 05. The applicant must have a minimum capital of Rs lacs. 06. a) The applicant must produce relevant documentary evidence along with the PQT application form (Minimum capita Rs.15 lac) b) PQT with non disclosure of relevant information or furnishing of incorrect or incomplete information/ documents will be disqualified. 07. Mere prequalification will not result in award of contract for rendering the said services. 08. The applicant must not have been at any time declared as insolvent or convicted for any offence by any Court. 09. The applicant must not have been prosecuted or suffered any penalty for violation of any labour laws by any Labour Authority/Competent Court. 10. The applicant has not rescinded / abandoned any GARDEN MAINTENANCE contract awarded by any of his clients before the expiry of prescribed period of contract. 11. The applicant will not be allowed to engage/ award sub-contract to any other entity or person at any time for SBIRD s contract. 12. The applicant should have complied with all labour laws and obtained all licenses/approvals/permissions to carry on the business of GARDEN MAINTENANCE services. 13. If none of the directors/ partners/ proprietor is having academic/ professional qualification in horticulture/other agriculture science, it will be mandatory for the contractor to engage a full time employee with such qualification for SBIRD contract. 14. The applicant must furnish a signed declaration in token of having understood and accepted the terms and conditions mentioned herein along with his PQT application forms. 15. The applicant is/has not formed/part of any cartel at any time for processing any

5 contract including the present indent for PQT. 16. The Institute is not responsible in any manner for the postal delay/loss/nonreceipt of PQT application. 17. Prequalification will be on the basis of scoring on various parameters as detailed in the annexure. The bidder will have to secure minimum 60% marks (42 out of 70) to be eligible for financial bidding. 18. The Institute reserves its right to reject all or any of the PQT applications without assigning any reason therefor. 19. Please submit filled in PQT application form duly signed by the applicant on all the pages including General Terms and Conditions (with all necessary documentary evidences wherever applicable) in a sealed cover superscribed as"pre Qualification Tender Application for GARDEN MAINTENANCE Services at State Bank Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad" to The Chief Manager (Admn), State Bank Institute of Rural Development, Post Bag No 2, Lingampally, Hyderabad so as to reach the Institute on or before 200 P.M The contractor should be able to provide a security with the Institute in the form of SBI s term deposit for Rs 4,00,000/- at least for the period of contract before entering into the final contract. 20. The applicant should be prepared to accept suitable penalty for any deviations of the terms and conditions in the services to be provided, as stipulated from time to time.
