2 HEAD OFFICE PREMISES DEPARTMENT APPOINTMENT OF ARCHITECTS / CONSULTANTS For Data Centre Migration/ Relocation & Data Centre Build Consulting for setting up of Tier III Standard Data Centre on 2 nd Floor of Bank s Building at CBD Belapur Bank of India intends set up an additional Data Centre at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Pre-qualification applications are invited from the Architectural firms/ Companies who are fulfilling the following criteria. 2. The Prequalification criteria for selection of Architects are as under:- (i) The Firm / Company must have minimum 5 years experience as on (ii) The firm must have minimum experience of having rendered Architectural services for successful completion of Data Centre for PSU/ Govt./ Public/ Private Sector during last 7 years (a) at least 3 similar projects costing minimum Rs.800 lac each out of which at least one work should be in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane. or (b) at least 2 similar projects costing minimum Rs lac each out of which at least one work should be in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane or (c) at least one similar project costing minimum Rs lac. If this single work is not in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane, at least one another work costing Rs. 800 lakh should be in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai/Thane.. The Architect should provide proper documentary proof in support of satisfactory completion of above works in terms of Letter of award, Completion certificate from the clients indicating the date of commencement, date of completion & estimated & actual cost of execution of the work failing which it may be treated that they have not completed such works. (iii) The firm should have their Head Office/Registered Office/ branch Office in Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai / Thane. Please attach Telephone bill/ Electricity bill. Site office of other ongoing project shall not be treated as branch office. (iv) The firm must have carried out similar work for Govt. / PSU/ Bank s.

3 3. Blank prescribed pre-qualification forms will be available during office hours from Monday to Friday and from A.M. to 1.00 P.M. on Saturdays from the office of the Dy. General Manager, Bank of India, Premises Department, 1 st Floor, West Wing, Star House, C-5, G- Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (East) on payment of Rs.5,000/- by Pay Order / Demand Draft in favour of Bank of India. No cash will be accepted. The interested firms may also download prescribed pre-qualification forms from our website. However, they have to enclose a Pay Order / Demand Draft for Rs.5,000/- in favour of Bank of India while submitting the application form duly filled in, in all respects, failing which, their applications will be liable for rejection. 4. The pre-qualification application forms duly filled in, in all respects, and signed should be submitted on or before 3.00 p.m. on Sealed Tenders are to be addressed to The Dy. General Manager, Head Office, Bank of India, First Floor, Premises Dept, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai Tender fee Rs 5000/- in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Bank of India payable at Mumbai (In case of tender downloaded from website) must be enclosed with the pre-qualification/empanelment documents and complete Tender to be dropped in the Tender Box placed at above address. Tender by Post shall not be accepted. The Prequalification applications will be opened on at 4.00 PM. 5. 5 INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS 1. Intending Applicants are required to submit their applications with full particulars, giving details about their organisation, experience, technical personnel in their organisation, spare capacity, competence and adequate evidence of their financial standing, etc. in the enclosed form, which will be kept confidential. 2. While deciding upon the pre-qualification of Architects / Consultants, great emphasis will be given on the ability and competence of applicants to do good quality works within the specified time schedule and in close co-ordination with local bodies and other agencies. 3. Decision of the Bank in regard to pre-qualification of Architects / Consultants shall be final. The Bank is not bound to assign any reason thereof. 4. Each page of the application shall be signed. The application shall be signed by person/ persons on behalf of the organisation having necessary authorisation /Power of Attorney to do so. 5. If the space in the pro-forma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheets of paper, stating therein the part of the pro-forma and serial number. Separate sheets shall be used for each part, and a proper reference with page number must be indicated in the main form of application. 6. Applications containing false and/or inadequate information are liable for rejection. 7. The firms must have worked for Govt./Public Sector undertakings/ Banks. 8. The firms shall not have any discouraging / adverse report against their past performance. 9. The committee constituted for the purpose shall scrutinize the documents furnished in Tender and pre-qualify suitable Architects. 10. Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not entitle for Prequalification as Prequalification will be done after taking into account various parameters including receipt of satisfactory reports from clients. The firms shall not have any discouraging/ adverse report against their past performance. 11. Clarifications, if any required, may be obtained from Bank of India, Head Office, Premises Department, C 5, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai. Architects are requested to visit the site before submitting the application to acquaint themselves with the site conditions. 14. Applicants shall furnish documentary evidence/certificates in support of their claims of work undertaken failing which the application will be liable for rejection.

6 15. Intimation to pre-qualified Architects for future coarse of action shall be advised separately. 16. Decision of the Bank in regard to pre-qualification of Architects shall be final. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereto. 17. Joint Venture / Consortium for this project of two or more firms and companies is not allowed. 18. Experience should be in the name of the bidding company only and not in subsidiary/ associate company/group company / Joint Venture / Consortium /or any other form etc. 19. The Firm must have their Information Technology Consultant, Structural Consultant, Electrical Consultant, Air Conditioning consultant, Fire -fighting consultant and should be capable of handling the following jobs.
