1 Georgia s Global Trade Stats Data released February 6, 2014 For the fourth consecutive year, Georgia exports reached a record level. More than 14,500 Georgia companies exported $37.6 billion in goods and services to 230 countries in. Georgia became the 11 th largest exporting state, up from 12 th in Georgia imports also experienced a record level in with imports totaling nearly $75.1 billion in goods, an increase of 4 percent over 2012; In FY, GDEcD s international trade division worked with 1,346 companies in Georgia. Work with these companies resulted in 420 export deals valued at $35.9 million. In FY, GDEcD s international representatives provided significant assistance to 86 international trade s key clients. Georgia Exports was the fourth consecutive record year for Georgia exports as the state s total value of goods exported nearly $37.6 billion; the most Georgia has ever exported in a single year. The state s exports of 37,578,190,121 were up 4% ($1.5 billion) from The state became the 11 th largest exporting states based on dollar value of exports. Since the announcement of the National Export Initiative in January 2010, Georgia exports have grown from $28,898,749,200 (2010) to $37,578,190,121 (2014), an increase of 77%. Georgia exports to countries covered by GDEcD International Representatives (Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Europe, Israel, Japan, Korea (South), Mexico, and the United Kingdom & Ireland) totaled $23.7 billion, accounting for 63 Georgia s total exports.
