27 Lessons learnt 1/3 Titelmasterformat durch Klicken bearbeiten Numerous ups and some downs on the average, permanent growth and development Cultures of Southeast Asia and Europe are different required the partners to learn and adapt educational system, academic structure and operation and style of teaching appeared similar many differences became obvious Ever-growing understanding led to stable cooperation motivated partners to develop new joint activities

28 Lessons learnt 2/3 Titelmasterformat durch Klicken bearbeiten The close collaboration did need time to develop, resulting from experience In eye-level collaboration between UKM and UDE, partners need to constantly discuss and define common goals Some obstacles and setbacks may exist, but if the partners believe in their goals, they can adapt, try again and finally reach a higher level of academic quality

The most important elements in a partnership are committed academicians on both sides and ample time to learn and develop the partnership 2. The major challenge in a partnership is success... The large number of mobile students forced the partners to look for more funding and services However, this challenge is welcome as positive feedback and engine for further developments
