Each presentation will last 40 minutes. Following each presentation, there will be 15 minutes for discussion. For details, see below. The academic program will take place at the, Arne Rettedalshus, room G-101. Electronic Equipment There will be a laptop and a beamer for use in the conference room. Please note that our conference laptop can only upload Power Point presentations that are compatible with Windows Office 2003 or earlier versions. PDF-files will also work. Hotel Accommodation All participants will stay at Skagen Brygge Hotel, which is centrally located in Stavanger a 15 minutes taxi ride from the University. Please take a taxi directly to the hotel when you arrive at the airport. The hotel provides you with wireless internet connection, free for all guests. Hotel address: Skagenkaien 28 30, 4006 Stavanger Phone number: Transport Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 8:15 am Maxi Taxis will pick you up outside the hotel and bring you to Campus. 3 Monday June 13 th Hiking trip to the Pulpit Rock We are very happy that so many of you are interested in the hiking trip. The day will pass as follows: 1030 We meet outside Skagen Brygge Hotel. A short walk to the ferry Ferry from Stavanger to Tau, approximately 30 minutes ferry ride We go by bus to the Pulpit Rock Mountain Lodge, approximately 30 minutes drive Hiking trip to the magnificent Pulpit Rock, 600 m above sea level. During the hike we will enjoy a brown bag lunch provided by us. Please remember to bring your own water Hot meal at the Pulpit Rock Mountain Lodge 1830 Bus from Pulpit Rock Mountain Lodge to the ferry 1915 The ferry from Tau to Stavanger It is important that you bring outfit for slightly changing weather conditions. Good shoes, jacket, sunglasses, sun cream, a hat and enough water.
