3 Brand Expression Guidelines Our brand is the symbol of our company, the quality mark of our products and services, and our people that have been delivering outstanding onpremise and cloud solutions to our customers for more than 25 years. Our organization represents the backbone for our customers and partners to easily and efficiently market, sell, deliver and analyze online. We created these guidelines to ensure that we always remain true to our brand when communicating to the market, investors, customers and partners. 1.1 What Is This Guide? The reflects our company, and how it should be communicated within the global marketplace. Consistency, clarity and integrity are the guiding principles of this document. It gathers together important information in order to correctly utilize and communicate the TIE Kinetix brand according to our marketing standards. 1.2 Why Is This Guide Important? This document will provide everyone with guidelines on how to coherently and uniquely communicate what TIE Kinetix is and represents with its branding details. 3
4 Company Profile 2.1 Company Description Full Version: TIE Kinetix transforms the digital supply chain by providing total integrated e-commerce solutions. These integrated e-commerce solutions maximize revenue opportunities by minimizing the energy needed to market, sell, deliver and analyze online. Customers and partners utilizing TIE Kinetix consistently benefit from innovative, field tested technology and are able to remain focused on their core business. TIE Kinetix develops cloud and license based solutions, and is backed with over 25 years of proven technology and awards. TIE Kinetix is a publicly traded company on the NYSE Euronext, and has offices in the United States, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom and Australia. TIE Kinetix can be all capitalized (TIE KINETIX) but never written all in small letters (tie kinetix). Never use TIE or Kinetix alone referring to the company. 4
5 Logo Usage 3.1. TIE Kinetix primary usages TIE Kinetix logos are available in different sizes and formats for usage in different situations and marketing collateral. TOTAL INTEGRATED E-COMMERCE TOTAL INTEGRATED E-COMMERCE TOTAL TOTAL INTEGRATED E-COMMERCE Do not change the tagline Do not use without tagline and/or the kinetic balls Do not reposition tagline or kinetic balls Do not add effects Don t modify the kinetic balls Do not rotate the logo The background of our logo is always white. Thus, if you need to use our logos on darker backgrounds and are unsure about the correct logo use, contact Global Marketing. Logos are provided in EPS, JPEG, PNG and GIF for specific use. 5
6 3.2. TIE Kinetix logo secundary options Although we prefer not to use our TIE Kinetix logo on colored backgrounds we know sometimes we can not avoid this. In that case look below of what you can and can t do in this situation. Look at the previous page where we show what not to do with our TIE Kinetix logo. In short, do not rotate, modify tagline or kinetic balls, add effects or reposition elements. If you are unsure about the correct logo use, contact Global Marketing. Logos are provided in EPS, JPEG, PNG and GIF for specific use. 6
7 3.3. TIE Kinetix logo space To make sure how to use our TIE Kinetix logo correctly we have made an example of the minimum space around the logo. 7
8 TIE Kinetix logos must not be translated or localized in any other language. All marketing materials, advertisements, and collaterals with TIE Kinetix logo must be approved by TIE Kinetix Global Marketing before distribution. Logos are provided in EPS, JPEG, PNG and GIF for specific use: EPS: The EPS format is used for high-quality images. EPS format is not intended for Web applications. JPEG/PNG: Use JPEG logos for Office applications. GIF: The GIF logos are intended to be used for Web applications. The absolute minimum size you may publish the TIE Kinetix logo with an output resolution of 72 dpi is 180x58 pixels. Be aware of the Retina displays as they have smaller pixels. For questions, 3.4 TIE Kinetix The TIE Kinetix logo is always associated to its tagline total integrated e-commerce that defines the company itself as it stands in the acronym that forms the first part of the brand name. The logo without the tagline is not complete, thus must never be separated from the rest without first consulting and having received an approval by TIE Kinetix Global Marketing. Don ts Do not use the logo as a link to any other web page other than Do not try to recreate the logo, only use the logo as provided. Do not combine the logo with any other logos, images, objects, words, graphics, photos, numbers, symbols, audio files, etc. Never animate the TIE Kinetix logo 3.5 Powered by TIE Kinetix This logo is used and can only be used in relation to TIE Kinetix platform products & services. 12 Official Typography The type font used by TIE Kinetix in all marketing materials, collateral, advertisements and website digital content is a combination of the Google Exo font and the systemfont Trebuchet MS. 5.1 Typography We are clear on how we use capital characters. Look below to find some answers on how TIE Kinetix and our solutions should be used in text. 13 5.2 Corporate Systemfont On every computer system (Windows and Mac) you can find the system font Trebuchet MS. Use this font for general use and applications, like Word, Powerpoint and , and any other application and/or files you send out in the open. We use this font primarily as plain text. 14 5.3 Design font The TIE Kinetix design licensed font is Exo. Trebuchet MS is recommended for general use. Usage The Exo font is primarly used for headlines and substitles in marketing material, collateral, advertisement and website content. Trebuchet MS is used as the primary font for body copy. When Exo is not available, or when we need to rely on system fonts exclusively (e.g., Word, Powerpoint, ), the Trebuchet MS font is used for headlines, subtitles and body copy. Custom font Exo is available free for download via Google Fonts. Trebuchet MS is a system font and free for general use. 15 Used Dimensions (Print) Officially there are two paper sizes used around the globe, that is A4 (common in Europe) and US Letter (common in USA, Canada, etc.). This causes issues when we make content which can be used globally. Therefore, TIE Kinetix choose for a mix between these two sizes. US Letter Optimal size A4 210 mm / 8.26 inch 280 mm / 11 inch Official TIE Kinetix dimension for: Magazine, Annual Report, Whitepaper, Brochure, Leaflet or other digital or printable communication material saved as PDF. NOTE! This does not mean quotations or normal communication materials, like letter templates or other, should be in this new dimension. 15
16 Video Standards 7.1 Video Orientation Please make sure that your video is oriented horizontally (landscape). Video Orientation Landscape Portrait 7.2 File Formats and Sizes The video file formats accepted by TIE Kinetix are MP4 and WMV. Our preferred standard 16:9 sizes are: 1920x1080(HD) or 1280x720(HD). We prefer not to use a 4:3 dimension since that isn t HD. Video Dimensions 4:3 16:9 HD 16
17 7.3 Geographic Region When relevant to the video, it will need to be labeled with the respective geographic region. 7.4 Resolution Make sure that the minimum resolution of the video is 960x540. All marketing video and audio file materials and advertisements must be reviewed and approved by TIE Kinetix Global Marketing before distribution. 17
