He addressed the uncertainty the economy is facing and shared the Ministry s strategy to encourage investment into Brazil s strategic sectors. He was followed by Neil Shearing, Chief Emerging Markets Economist, Capital Economics who outlined the reasons behind Brazil s economic slowdown and the factors that he thinks will shape the economic outlook for Global investors, Allianz and Vaquero Global, discussed the reality of investing in Brazilian credit and the requirements local borrowers need to fulfil to increase their investment appeal.
