Police Academy - We have one of the state s best police training academies. Classes are offered evenings and on occasional weekends, Monday through Friday over seven-months. Upon satisfactory completion of the academy, cadets must take a state administered certification test. A passing rate of 70 percent or better qualifies cadets to apply for work as a peace officer in the state of Ohio. Kent State Trumbull Theatre - Stages performances involving campus and community members during fall and spring semesters, plus a burgeoning summer stock.
