INTENSIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM (IELP) The University s IELP trains international students in the English language and American life customs. The program prepares students to succeed by improving their spoken and written English, using computers to prepare for classroom assignments and introducing the American higher education system. 5 MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION A total of 33 credit hours are required for a Master of Arts in Education degree at The University of Findlay. Fulltime requirement for the graduate level is nine credit hours per semester. The cost per credit hour is $493, which makes the total cost for the program before scholarship $16,269. Once the $1,000 scholarship is added to the tuition, the total cost for a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Findlay is $15,269. Books are not included in tuition. MASTER OF ARTS IN TESOL/ BILINGUAL EDUCATION A total of 36 credit hour s are required for a Master of Arts in TESOL/Bilingual Education degree at The University of Findlay. Full-time requirement for the graduate level is nine credit hours per semester. Tuition for the entire MA in TESOL/Bilingual Education degree is $17,748, which is $493 per credit hour. Students receive a $1,000 scholarship, bringing the total for the degree to $16,748. Books are not included. MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) A full-time MBA student must take a minimum of nine credit hours each term. Each term consists of two blocks. If a student completes the program without taking a break, the program will take 4 terms or 1.5 years. MBA degree requires a total of 33 credit hours. Tuition for completion of the MBA program at $645 per credit hour, would equal a total of $21,285. After the $2,000 scholarship over the course of the program, the total cost of the MBA at The University of Findlay is $19,285. Books are included in tuition but it does not include any prerequisite courses if required. MASTER OF SCIENCE IN ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT (ES&H) A total of 33 credit hours are required for a Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management degree at The University of Findlay. A full-time ES&H student must take a minimum of nine credit hours each term. Each term consists of two blocks. Tuition for the entire 33 hours required for the MS in Environmental, Safety and Health Management degree is $20,691, which is $627 per credit hour. After the $2,000 scholarship over the course of the program, the total cost of the ES&H degree at The University of Findlay is $18,691. Books are included in tuition but it does not include any prerequisite courses if required. *Graduate students are charged a general service fee based on credit hours. A student taking more than nine credit hours will be charged a $724 per year general service fee. A graduate student will be charged $26 activity fee per session/quarter.

6 CAMPUS LIFE HOUSING AND LIVING SPACE As international students, you can choose to live on campus or live close to campus in a non-university owned/ managed apartment or house. To help new students decide the best living option for them, the University has a number of International Welcome Houses. New international students may stay in the Welcome Houses for up to 10 days while they decide whether they want to live on or off campus. The houses are located on campus and each are staffed with a graduate assistant. All houses have furnished bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, wireless Internet and laundry facilities. The cost is $20 per night. For students deciding to live on campus, they will join the more than 1,300 other students who live in one of the University s eight residence halls, spacious townhouses, apartment-style cottages and special interest houses. ACTIVITIES & ADVENTURES Since UF is a small campus, students can be involved in as many things as they want. They can sing in the Concert- Chorale, join a social fraternity, host a show on WLFC 88.3 or become a part of any of our student organizations. Students also enjoy concerts, comedians and entertainers that perform on campus, at no additional cost. RECREATIONAL SERVICES UF has 24 intercollegiate sports teams and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and Intercollegiate Dressage Association. UF also offers: 20 intramural sports teams, open to all students Cardio center with indoor track Game rooms with arcade-style games, ping pong and air hockey tables HEALTH SERVICES The Cosiano Health Center, located on campus, is a free, walk-in clinic for students, faculty and staff. The health center provides general health assessments, first aid, numerous diagnostic tests, physicals and referrals to specialists. TRANSPORTATION SERVICES A shuttle to local shopping and grocery stores is available free of charge on a weekly basis.
