Candidate in Information Systems Financial aid Students who choose to pursue graduate studies at Baylor can receive financial assistance from their department and the University, as well as state and federal programs. 6 Living in Waco Situated less than one hundred miles from both Austin and Dallas, Waco s area population of 230,000 enjoys a rich and eclectic sampling of the natural landscape, bustling local commerce, and the cultural arts. The backdrop of the city, the Brazos River, serves as the hub for shopping, fine dining, exercise, and cultural enrichment. I wanted to come to a program where community was more than an ironic name for a competitive group of scholars.
