5 Your profile Once you fill in our short registration form, we ll set up a dedicated page for your charity on our website. This is a great place for potential givers to find out about what your charity does and how to get involved. From your page, people can... Donate directly to your charity Donate to one of your crowd-funding campaigns Start fundraising for your charity View any businesses that are supporting your charity You can have as much input as you want into creating your page and once it s set up, it allows anyone to donate to your charity through our website.

6 Fundraising It s easy for anyone to start fundraising for your charity on Make a Donation - whether they are taking on a fun run, an immense cycling challenge or a sponsored swim... 7 Crowd-funding Crowd-funding is slightly different to fundraising - it s fantastic for raising money for a certain project for your charity. For example, if you re trying to buy a new piece of equipment or even construct a building - crowd-funding is a good place to start... Anyone can donate to your project, but it only works if you reward the givers We provide the rewards for you, unlike all other crowd-funding sites With every donation, givers can redeem a fantastic offer from a great brand If you want to make it personal - why not get your local businesses involved to thank givers There are no limits on the money you raise You get real donations, not pledges - so you can take away whatever money you raise, whether you reach your target or not

8 Payment Payment is a straight-forward process at Make a Donation. All your donations are collected into a secure client account and then transferred to your charity s account around 15th of each month. It s easy to claim Gift Aid too - your donors will have the option to select whether they want to add Gift Aid at the donation stage. We will then send you a report containing all the information for Gift Aid so you can claim it for your charity.

9 Promotion We do a little more than the other fundraising sites out there. We ll help you promote your charity and any special fundraising events via our blog and social media channels. In fact, every week we promote one of our charities via social media & we re regularly featuring the latest charity events in our blogs. The more you tell us about what your charity is up to, the more we can promote it! It s also easy for you to promote your charity - your charity page on Make a Donation is a great place to send people to find out what you re doing and get donating.
