All operatives will be issued with and will be required to wear all relative protective clothing which may include steel toe cap boots, high vision waistcoat, protective eye wear, hard hats and gloves. Hand tools, 240v drill, 110v drill, cordless drill/drivers, cordless disk cutter, pipe benders, pipe swaging kit, pipe flaring kit, oxy-acetylene brazing kit, map gas torch, vacuum pump, 240v refrigerant recovery unit, digital weigh scales, refrigerant gauges, nitrogen regulator, oxygen free nitrogen, refrigerant Site lockable containment box. All welfare facilities as provided on site. Site installation foreman to notify the client of any possible installation problems. All Angelz employees or sub-contractors are qualified or experienced and trained to carry out the duties they have been asked to perform in a safe and professional manner. They have also been provided with and trained in the company s quality control installation procedures. The client will issue where applicable all necessary permits to work. Operatives are to follow all emergency procedures/evacuation as laid down by the client. Health and Safety information will be sited within the site office and highlighted during site induction. 5 Towers: Lifting Details: COSHH: Erected to health and safety standards. Operatives will either lift by hand or lift in pairs/group any lightweight materials or equipment. 6 Risk Assessment HAZARD MANAGEMENT OF RISK Site Awareness Access/Egress to Workplace Working at Height Operative Health Fire/Explosion Adverse Weather Surface Obstructions Vehicular Movement Unauthorised Access All operatives are to fully familiarise themselves with method statements, risk assessments, health and safety data and COSHH sheets. All operatives are to be inducted by the client. Operatives are to satisfy themselves irrespective of confirmation by others that they are fully aware of other vehicle movements when gaining access to the working area. Follow designated signage. All personnel will use ladders or podium steps as required, to work at a height of up to 3.5m. For working about 3.5m, personnel will be required to use aluminium towers. Operatives are to ensure all necessary PPE is being utilised. COSHH and data sheets are to be adhered to. Risk of fire is high. All personnel who use brazing equipment will be issued a fire extinguisher and must ensure they have it close by whilst brazing any copper pipe. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. If ambient weather conditions support snow/rain/high winds etc. then all works will be suspended outdoors until such conditions improve. Operatives are to monitor the situation on a periodic basis with regards to obstructions. Any obstructions found that present a risk must be brought to the attention of the site manager All operatives are to be aware of the vehicular movement that exists on site and caution must be taken when trafficking the site. All operatives are to adhere to the site instructions regarding to vehicular movement. No access to the site or working area without the authority of the site manager. Site induction must have been completed prior to undertaking any works. When required, permits to work must be obtained. Page 6 of 6
