The path to coping with an addiction has been streamlined and simplified for dental professionals in Ontario thanks to an agreement between the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and Homewood Health Centre. This addiction treatment program is tailor-made for dental professionals to ensure those who are addicted have quick access to effective treatment. 4 PROGRAM FEATURES EXPEDITED ACCESS TO ADDICTION TREATMENT : Available 72 hours after referral is received 35-DAY RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM One-week assessment to observe addiction, physical, psychological, family, social and spiritual well-being Medical management of withdrawal and detoxification Medical and psychiatric stabilization Intensive therapy through group work focusing on skill development, education and relapseprevention tools specifically designed for health care professionals Psychological referral and testing

7 PROGRAM COSTS Dental Professional Addiction Program cost for an RCDSO member is $33, To Participate in this Program : A non-refundable deposit of $7,000 for the one-week assessment is required :T he balance is due following completion of the one-week assessment : Visa and Mastercard are accepted To participate, call PLEASE NOTE: : Program fees are non-refundable : F or residential stay beyond 35 days an additional fee of $1,100 per day applies : F ees to participate in other Homewood programs are not included in this program s cost
