1 County Public Health ADDICTION RECOVERY CENTERS (ARC) We offer some of the best evidence-based outpatient treatment services for men, women, and teens in the State of Colorado. We offer gender-specific and co-ed groups and individual treatment designed to meet the needs of most clients. Psychiatric services are available as needed. Groups are available in,, and Lafayette, and they are easily accessible by public transportation. Affidavits-of-Enrollment for Department of Motor Vehicle driving privileges are also available. Out of state DUI treatment requirements can also be accommodated. Teens are accommodated through our Teen Programs. OUTPATIENT SERVICES: DUI PROGRAM All DUI groups are 2 hours in length. The cost for all DUI groups is $30 per group for all clients. Because the DUI Program is primarily self-supporting, a sliding fee scale is not offered. However, a cash discount is offered for paying for services in 12-week blocks up front. Incentives (i.e. gift cards) are provided for pregnant and parenting women to come to treatment and/or stay in treatment. Childcare is offered for some groups and individual counseling. Transportation assistance is also available. Cost for all services is based on a sliding fee scale or other funding sources potentially available to women who lack financial resources. Comprehensive adjuncts are available to support therapy, including psychiatric medication evaluations and individual counseling. Please note that group schedules and offerings are subject to change. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Program Women s Relapse Prevention Groups Women s Parenting Sober Group Special Connections for Women Program* Women s Recovery Skills (Adapted in part from the Matrix Model of Treatment) Women who would like to become happier with their lives and increase freedom from addiction by learning how to pay attention to thoughts/emotions and by practicing CBT skills Women who wish to remain abstinent and committed to a recovery program Women working toward reunification with their children or who are currently parenting their children Pregnant women who might be struggling with quitting substances while they are pregnant Women who are newly in recovery and/or who have not yet identified as having a substance abuse or dependence issue Child care generally provided,, and Lafayette Recovery, relapse prevention, and modifying behavior; improving the quality of one s life by developing interpersonal skills; and learning how to manage emotions and crises effectively Identifying triggers, coping skills, self-care, stress management, communication skills, lifestyle needs, and mental health issues Discuss parenting issues that impact sobriety, such as boundary setting, discipline, generational parenting issues, guilt, and self-care Supporting healthy behaviors during pregnancy, promoting healthy families, ensuring a safe home environment, stopping or reducing substance abuse during pregnancy or post-partum Teaches the dynamics of addiction and tools for recovery. Women are encouraged to implement self-care, including nutrition and physical activities that can enhance sobriety Individual sessions, DBT Skills group, phone calls, homework (including daily diary card) and DBT Consult group. Women with a history of any trauma or grief who have used substances to cope Women examine in depth how relationships contribute to wellness and recovery. Develop skills for identifying and building healthy relationships Issues specific to women, their health and recovery, Lafayette & Beginning to address the cognitive, behavioral, and interpersonal issues resulting from trauma and substance abuse Helping individuals understand the interaction of thoughts, feelings and actions that have led to poor relationships, and the relearning of strategies to improve all relationships Helping women increase awareness and understanding that will enrich the recovery process. Topics include intimacy, accountability, body image, fear and anger, trauma, healthy lifestyles and healthy relationships. Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) utilizes the Seeking Safety Curriculum and homework Process Group using workbooks that focuses on overcoming codependency Process Group using workbooks 26 weeks * Medicaid pays for all services related to effective substance abuse counseling and accessing prenatal care. We offer a broad range of evidence-based practices for men and women 18 and over, utilizing best practices recognized for their success in reducing the negative impact of addiction to the individual, and the community. Our collaborative approach with community partners allows us to work together to address the multiple problems that addiction brings. All groups are 2 hours in length. The cost for all services is based on a sliding fee scale, ranging from $7 to $35 for groups and $15 to $75 for individual sessions. Potential discount available for services paid for in block increments. Please note that group schedules and offerings are subject to change. Men s Recovery Group Readiness Recovery Skills Relapse Prevention Men who have legal issues, County Dept of Housing and Human Services (DHHS) involvement, or who need solid support accompanied with accountability Co-ed group to help people engage in the process of therapy and introduction to treatment A psycho-educational group that focuses on teaching people about the process and treatment of addiction Designed for people who are stable in their recovery or are working through a lapse Helping men live lives of character and accountability in a sober environment. Topics include intimacy, character, accountability, sexuality, pain and anger, past trauma, and healthy relationships Triggers, relapse prevention, stages of change, community support groups, dealing with anxiety, and living a clean and sober life Addiction as a disease, impact on the brain and body, infectious diseases, relapse prevention, safe people and friends A traditional process-oriented group that focuses on sobriety as a way of life, relapse prevention strategies, safe relationships, and good decision making; group accountability is key Group process and psycho education based on The Matrix Model: The Family Unit Unique engagement activities framed in motivational interviewing and CBT techniques Psycho-education and group process combined with motivational interviewing and CBT techniques. A group for the more criminal thinkers The substance abusing client and their partner Helping individuals understand the interaction of thoughts, feelings and actions that have led to AOD/criminal conduct and learn empathy building, relapse prevention strategies, engaging in healthy relationships, and improving communication skills Improving the quality and health of the relationship to provide a solid base that will enhance the recovery of the substance dependent partner(s) and general health of the family Strict CBT to help change criminal thinking and AOD use This group is co-facilitated by two clinicians skilled in working with couples and/or families. 52 weeks Varies according to couples needs. Services are available at a significantly reduced cost for adolescents involved with one or more of the following: County District Probation, County Department of Housing and Human Services, or Mental Health Partners ($2 per service). Other referred clients will pay on a sliding fee scale of $7 - $35 for groups and $15 - $75 for Individual therapy and/or family therapy sessions. DUI Education Credit is earned through a combination of group and individual therapy, each of which cost a set rate of $15. Please note that there is a mandatory DUI intake fee of $40. Please note that group schedules and offerings are subject to change. Call during business hours to confirm availability and schedules. Teen Programs Adolescent boys and girls who need substance abuse treatment; they may have not had prior treatment and are struggling to maintain themselves in the community Addressing the cognitive, behavioral, family, and interpersonal issues resulting from substance abuse; helping the adolescents learn healthy and legal ways of coping and having fun. Cognitive- behavioral skills, Motivational Interviewing, and behavior management Groups meet once or twice weekly, individual therapy as needed. 3 or 6 month minimum Family Therapy DUI Education Credit for Adolescents Families of teens in ITOP or ISIS who need family treatment and are unable to access treatment through private insurance or Medicaid or DHHS Core Services Adolescent boys and girls who need DUI credit and would benefit from an adolescent focused intervention Helping families cope with substance abuse issues and loss of trust; topics include family dynamics, trauma, parenting skills, and coping with child s substance use Addressing the cognitive, behavioral, family, and interpersonal issues resulting from substance abuse; helping adolescents learn healthy and legal ways of coping and having fun Cognitive- behavioral skills, Motivational Interviewing, and behavior management Cognitive- behavioral skills, Motivational Interviewing, and behavior management Driving with Care curriculum, modified for adolescents. 7 County Public Health ADDICTION RECOVERY CENTERS (ARC) INTENSIVE SERVICES: CRISIS AND INPATIENT Intensive Services strives to provide 24-hour quality crisis counseling, safe detoxification from alcohol and drugs, and an environment conducive to recovery with attention to individual treatment needs once clients stabilize from withdrawal. We offer treatment information and referrals, brief counseling, and transitional residential treatment services for clients needing to bridge to other services or who need to establish stability before returning to outpatient treatment. We also offer 24-hour Breathalyzer services and other monitoring programs. N/A Detoxification Program Residents of County who are intoxicated or in withdrawal from drugs or alcohol Airport Rd., $60 - $300/day based on household income (20% Discount for full payment at the time of discharge). Safe detoxification from alcohol and other substances; limited withdrawal medication provided; Referral to hospital when necessary; Counseling and referral services upon becoming sober and stable. 1-7 days Transitional Residential Treatment (TRT) County residents not able to succeed in outpatient substance abuse treatment, and those who need the structure of a short-term residential treatment option Airport Rd., $20 - $100/day based on household income (20% Discount for pre-payment of 30 days). Stable residential environment; group counseling and Self-help group exposure; case management to address instabilities in recovery (housing, employment, mental health). Cognitive-Behavioral treatment using the Matrix Model, an evidencebased program. 3-6 weeks Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) County residents may be eligible for MAT services using Suboxone and Vivitrol.
