27 HOW IT WORKS Contact SCL early in the project Bring your ideas; even before the project has been clearly defined Pre-approval: We must inspect before you begin! A site visit can help assess all electricity conservation opportunities SCL can help prepare the analysis for energy savings: proper pricing and equipment documentation is critical to determining SCL incentives SCL will outline what is required in order to make payment (monitoring, invoices, etc.) Contract is delivered to customer for signature first, then signed by SCL and returned Post-Installation Post inspection by SCL to confirm equipment and operation; may require trend-logs or metering As-built conditions used to calculate final savings Copies of invoices required on all projects 27
