4 SAFE-O-TRONIC access Electronic Identification and Locking System Architecture and technology All components of the SAFE-O-TRONIC access locking system were integrated in a standardised and consistent product line. Product line The following systems belong to the SAFE-O- TRONIC access product line:, SAFE-O-TRONIC access DS door locking system, SAFE-O-TRONIC access CS cylinder locking system, SAFE-O-TRONIC access LS furniture locking system, SAFE-O-TRONIC access TS terminal system. The design is consistent and function-orientated and the programming concept is also consistent. Identification PIN code and RFID technologies are combined for SAFE-O-TRONIC access locking systems. With the integration of NFC technology, a mobile telephone can also be used as the key for SAFE-O-TRONIC access locking systems. Standards SAFE-O-TRONIC access DS is approved for use on fire and smoke protection doors as well as for emergency exit locks according to DIN EN 179. SAFE-O-TRONIC access CS is also approved according to DIN EN 179 and DIN EN All locking systems meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements and are CE compliant. 02

6 SAFE-O-TRONIC access Electronic Identification and Locking System Design and organisation Customisation In 2010, 2011 and 2012 SAFE-O-TRONIC access locking systems were awarded various design awards. With the customisation option, the furniture and door closing systems can be integrated into many different architecture and design concepts. SAFE-O- TRONIC access DS locking systems can be combined with various door handles and rosettes. The front panel and ornamental handle rosettes can be designed freely. Card-based network With the optional use of a virtual card-based network, SAFE-O-TRONIC access CyberNet, SAFE-O- TRONIC access offline locking systems are equipped with the convenience of online locking systems.
