5 ADULT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH UNIT SOCIAL SERVICE WORKER Salary: $2, $2,838.00/mo. Opened: 10/30/15 Posting#: Position# 125 Perform complex social service work. This position will be assigned to Level of Care 4. This position will be trained to conduct clinical screenings, assessment, and service eligibility based on consumer need. The individual will be responsible to coordinate, link and authorize appropriate service, and to monitor the progress of those individuals in meeting treatment goals. Deliver interventions such as case management, rehabilitation skills, group\individual sessions, crisis resolution, and discharge planning base on the need of the particular unit. This position will be stationed in Webb will require traveling to Starr, Jim Hogg and Zapata Co. Service included psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, TIMA referral and recommendation for services. Court ordered evaluation and admissions for hospitalization, medication management and other medical and psychiatric duties as assigned. Also responsible for certain administrative functions such as assisting with management of medication cost through effective of prescriptions and implementation of administrative and management procedures and routine, for completion of medical, physician notes, TIMA s ad other clinical documentation in compliance with established center standards and timeframes. Psychiatric services will be provided in the clinic setting, SASH and Courts as required the needs, goals and mission of the Center. Reports problems, issues and concerns related to operation and compliance of OPC assigned supervisor and serves as an active member of the MH Division by attending scheduled meetings and maintaining open and active communications with manager and MH Director of Provider Administrator for BRBHC.
