These mornings are now wellknown and we are helping many good mediums to develop their gift. Whether you are a newcomer starting to explore your psychic potential, or are more experienced and looking to expand your abilities, the Development Mornings are a good way to both start and continue with your psychic and spiritual development. Everyone has psychic ability and these mornings are an effective way to discover your best way of developing them in a friendly and supportive environment with the emphasis being on understanding the psychic and spirit worlds and how to connect with them, lots of practical exercises and practise readings on people you have not worked with before. We are delighted to welcome back to M.S.D.C. the very talented Medium and Spirit Artist, DEBBIE DEAN. Debbie is well-known to us and we always have a wonderful evening full of love and laughter when she visits! She works with a board and easel and draws the person in spirit who is linking with her, and also gives out many details about each person. Invariably, someone recognises the person and goes home with a wonderful portrait of their loved one, together with a message from them. What a wonderful gift to have! 2 The Guided Meditation is from 11am till 12 noon with medium JANET WILSON. No need to book just turn up. Cost is 5. Janet will help you relax and talk you through a beautiful imaginary scene to somewhere you can sit quietly and learn how to interact with your Guides or loved ones in Spirit. Gentle music is played in the background. You are watched over and very safe during this meditation. At the end, we exchange stories of what or where we went and what we saw. We usually end by having Question and Answers and then an Angel card each and this card has a relevant message for the person who chose it. This is the ideal event for anyone who is just starting on their spiritual pathway. Meditation helps to quieten the mind and link with Spirit. You will come away feeling peaceful but energised. Once you have mastered the art of Meditation, you will never regret it. It s a means of helping yourself throughout your life. You can learn more about Darren on his website ** Sunday 9 th August WORKSHOP with DARREN BRITTAIN entitled EMBRACING SPIRIT, REMOVING SELF This workshop is suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to the more advanced student and you will have the opportunity to explore your own individual awareness in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. Throughout the day we will explore the following; Building and harnessing your psychic power and sensitivity Exploring the Power of No in our work and looking at the boundaries of the medium Experiencing what happens to your energy as you connect with Spirit and how it changes whilst doing and public work Identifying ways to remove your own mind from the process of mediumship therefore allowing Spirit s agenda to be clear Using altered states to enhance your mediumistic work There will be plenty of opportunity to practice your psychic and mediumistic connections in one to ones, in groups, and for the brave, to your peers on platform where you will be able to identify how your own sensitivity works and how to present it accurately. Many mediums are able to offer factual pieces of evidence but few are able to truly allow the presence of the Spirit communicator into their links. Throughout the day you will be shown how to bring more emotion into your connections, identify the needs of the Spirit World and to also learn trust in what you receive. Following an over- subscribed workshop in January this year, we are re-running this workshop for those people who were unable to attend in January. Have you ever wondered about who you were in a past life? Maybe you are attracted to a certain era in time and don't know why! This past life regression workshop gives you the chance to answer these questions and many more. On the day you will revisit 2 past lives and get to document those lives so you can later do research. Sally is a professional Spirit Medium with over 20 years experience working as a voice for Spirit 4

5 giving private sittings, public demonstrations, serving Churches and Centres. She teaches all aspects of Mediumship here in the UK and overseas and is an Approved Tutor of the Spiritualist National Union at the Arthur Findlay College. Sally is known for her down-to-earth approach in all aspects of her work, also her passion for representing Spirit with truth, and joy in assisting others as they seek to develop their own potential on their journey with Spirit and mediumship. Firstly, on Saturday 24 th Sally will run a Workshop to help those who are aiming to give private readings and/or platform readings. Title: Spirit Communication: Private and Public This is a workshop for evidential mediumship; throughout the day we will be looking at the essential elements of a Spirit communication needed to provide wholeness and validity to the information from Spirit which applies to both Private Sittings and Public Demonstration, and we will take a brief look at necessary protocol for either event. We will also be exploring ways in which we can strive to enrich and give depth to an evidential communication in order to substantiate the reality of the presence of loved ones in Spirit for the recipient - that they do indeed still continue to live and walk beside us. When we can do this we enhance the value of the message they bring and achieve the ultimate - two-fold purpose of mediumship to provide evidence life is continuous, and to initiate healing. The workshop will be suitable for mixed levels of experience, there will be a little theory followed by ample opportunity to put it into practice by conducting private sittings, and for those who wish - a chance to give a public demonstration. Symbols are often used by the spirit world to convey their messages to us and can be an easy, short and concise way of getting the message across, but ONLY if you have an understanding of what that particular symbol means to you! Very often I ve witnessed important messages being lost because of the misreading of a particular symbol. This can be frustrating for the medium, the recipient and of course the spirit world too! So why not come along to this workshop Symbolism in Mediumship to find out how to work in a different way with your mediumship and discover a new language that is actually much easier to use than you may have thought. In this workshop we will look at the use of Symbols and how they can be a useful addition to your mediumship which can help to enhance your connection to the Spirit world in a number of ways. 7 ** Saturday 5 th December - PSYCHIC & SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT MORNING with Mediums, STEVE CLARK, ** Wednesday 9 th December - This is our CHRISTMAS MONTHLY MEETING and during this evening we split the event into two halves. We begin with Mediumship and Messages from the ever popular and bubbly CHERYL TURTLEMOON. During the course of the first half you can buy your candles to light in the second half in memory of loved ones in the Spirit World or for things close to your heart, such as World Peace or Healing, etc. Candles are 20p each and all proceeds will go to a local charity together with the proceeds of the bumper Christmas Raffle. In the second half, Medium, JANET WILSON will lead the Candlelight Meditation, when the lights are dimmed and the candles glow. Janet will lead us into a short Christmas Meditation while we send out our special thoughts at this time of year. This is a special evening a happy time, but time to reflect during all the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
