2 Ancient Greek Tarot Reading With Richard Mapping Out Your Next Six Months Receiving Advice On Your Best Path Revealing The Unexpected Call to schedule your appointment. In this card we meet Narcissus. He was a beautiful youth whose mother was told never to allow him to see his own reflection. But one day, wandering alone and thirsty, he came upon a pond that had never been touched by plant, animal, or human. As he knelt to drink its waters he saw his own reflection and instantly fell in love. He knew it was himself but after hour upon hour of gazing, he could no longer bear the agony of not having this unobtainable love and so he stabbed himself to death. The Narcissus flower grew from the blood. In a reading this card can be read in different ways. One obvious way is that the client is too self-absorbed in his/her dealings with others. Another interpretation is that one s old self must die so that a new, improved self can emerge. Still another is that the client must learn to love him/her self before truly finding love with another. 6 Classes & Courses Register by calling (716) Tarot: The Major Arcana 6 Fridays, January 22 nd To February 26 th 7:30 9PM $175 Deposit: $75 This is a six-week course, which will teach you how to read the Tarot cards. Here we will focus on the Major Arcana, the 22 cards of the deck that represent the major themes in the Tarot. Those are all the cards that are necessary for you to do an actual reading. Understanding the cards necessitates having a personal relationship with them. Thus, in these classes we will examine the features and meanings of each card and then you will engage in a one-on-one meditation with the character on the card itself. From this personal connection you will be able to develop and grow confidence in your own intuition to interpret each card s meaning. The last class will be dedicated to performing readings. The Greek Mythic deck will be used as a guide for this course, but please bring whatever deck you plan to use, since it s important to become acquainted with the nuances of your own cards. Various layouts will be explained and you can choose what works best for you. It is recommended that students know how to meditate Inner Focus The First Thursday of each month beginning May 5 th Time: 7:30 10:00 Fee: $35 This class welcomes all past graduates of Meditation & Metaphysics. It s purpose is to bridge what you have learned in M&M into a more expanded learning on various topics such as Chakras, Inner Child, Opening the Heart, etc. We will be using exercises and personal discussions to assist you in a deeper understanding of your expanded self. Through the use of meditation, exercises and shared discussion, we uncover various aspects of ourselves that are holding us back. Week by week, the class evolves into different paths of self-discovery on many different levels. We experience awakening and activating the various aspects of our bodies through healing our personal stargates (dimensional chakras that are within all of us).
