Yard Operator The Yard Operator will be responsible for assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of the concrete batch plant and related equipment. This includes but is not limited to keeping equipment and plant site neat and clean at all times, maintaining plant grounds and making sure all equipment is in its proper place. The Yard Operator will also be responsible for maintaining proper levels of aggregates and admixtures, keeping hoppers full of aggregates at all times and loading dump trucks, trailers, and pickups with the proper amount of requested material as required. The Yard Operator may be required to assist the Plant Manager with batching and fill-in as required in the absence of the Plant Manager. Advise the Project Manager/Fleet Manager of any requirements for maintenance or repairs. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of truck and equipment safety. Knowledge of sewer cleaning truck and equipment operation. Knowledge of sewer cleaning and debris disposal procedures. Knowledge of sewer cleaning standards and procedures. Ability to operate single/double and sewer trucks in a safe and responsible manner. Client service and public interaction skills. Team building.
