3 WELCOME TO MUNICH! This first European Rhinoplasty Summit is organized by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), together with APKO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Plastische, Rekonstruktive und Ästhetische Kopf-Hals-Chirurgie), an association of the German ORL-Society. The faculty has been chosen among the leaders of rhinoplasty of each European country in addition to very distinguished internationally well respected teachers from other continents. The academic program includes comprehensive lectures and panels on recent surgical and scientific advances in rhinoplasty. Besides, there are oral presentations and posters from the participants. Among the highlights there are live surgical demonstrations by much acknowledged experts, and the opportunity of master-guided practical training. The presidents of the organizing societies, the co-directors and the entire faculty welcome you as an esteemed participant in one of the most exciting meetings on rhinoplasty of the year in Europe. Expect a high learning effect through intense discussions, and days of vivid and pleasant conversations with friends and colleagues from all over the world. Enjoy your stay in Munich and Bavaria, one of the most attractive regions in Germany and Europe! Pietro Palma Ralf Siegert Fazil Apaydin Alexander Berghaus 3
