I the undersigned: Agree to indemnify, defend, protect, and hold harmless the sponsors, location proprietors, and all its associates from any personal injury, loss or damages to him/herself or any property loss or damages of any nature suffered by a person, vendors and especially the attendees while within the vendor s space or caused by the vendor. Vendor may not assign their contract for vendor space or permit any other person to use part of said space without the expressed consist of the event coordinator. (Please Initial) I understand that my application will be reviewed and I will be contacted if I am selected to be a vendor for the 2016 Rusted Magnolia Marketplace at Jubilee Hills. Vendor applications will be reviewed upon receipt and accepted vendors will be notified by or phone within 5 business days of application review. Upon acceptance, vendors are required to pay a $100 deposit to secure their space, due within 5 business days of vendor acceptance. Final rental payment is due in Full within 30 days of the event ( March 25, 2016 ). Any vendor accepted after the date of March 25, 2016 will be required to pay their full rental fee to secure their space. Fees may be paid by Check, cash or money order. Those wishing to pay by check will receive final approval once funds have cleared. There will be a $40 fee for any returned check. ALL VENDOR FEES ARE NON- REFUNDABLE. 5 Rusted Magnolia Marketplace At Jubilee Hills 2016 Vendor Applicaon Preview Sale on Thursday, April 28th from 5 pm - 8 pm Friday, April 29th from 10 am - 7 pm Saturday, April 30th from 10 am 4 pm Locaon: Set on the beauful grounds of Jubilee Hills located at 1560 Cornersville Road, Lewisburg, Tennessee, Rain or Shine Event. Applicaon Requirements: Complete all informaon on the Rusted Magnolia Marketplace at Jubilee Hills Applica- on and director@marshallchamber.org or mail to Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, 227 Second Avenue North, Lewisburg, TN Also, please mail a minimum of four (4) photos of the types of items you would like to sell, at least one of which shows how you have displayed goods preciously or how you plan to display at the Marketplace Sale. Experience isn t necessary, but we encourage creave displays with unique quality goods. We want our Sale to be set apart from your average flea market. Vendor Perks: The Rusted Magnolia Market Place at Jubilee Hills Commiee knows the value of their vendors and wants to ensure you are being rewarded for taking me out of your lives to parcipate in our event. Vendors will not only have the opportunity to come together with other arsans in their category and expose the public to their unique merchandise, they will all receive the following: 25 Flyers to share during shows/events Vendor lisng on the Rusted Magnolia Marketplace at Jubilee Hills Facebook Page Security provided aer set-up to ensure your merchandise will not be bothered Professionally Designed Graphics for use on your Social Media and Website to promote the event A photo will be taken of each parcipant s booth and placed on the Chamber of Commerce Website following the event. Applicaon Review: This will be a juried show. All applicants understand their applicaon and photos will be reviewed by a selecon commiee appointed by the event coordinators for the show acceptance. Selecon Process and Noficaon: All applicaons that are submied will be reviewed and vendors will be chosen based upon the Rusted Magnolia Marketplace feel of our Sale. We want to offer quality goods that meet our customers expectaons of items that can t be found just anywhere. Our expectaons are to have an overall mix of Barn Sale Vendors with a wide variety of repurposed items, vintage and anques. Applicaon does not guarantee acceptance because vendors booths are limited. All applicaons will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to apply as soon as possible. Vendor applicaons will be reviewed and accepted vendors will be nofied by or phone within 5 business days of review. Upon acceptance, vendors must make a deposit of $100 to secure their event space. All Deposit funds are due within 5 business days of acceptance noficaon. Fees must be made by check, money order or cash. 6 Adversing: The Rusted Magnolia Marketplace at Jubilee Hills Commiee will substanally market the Sale in all surrounding counes via local newspapers, magazines, flyers, brochures, signs and postcards in local retail locaons, radio and social media. Social Media will play a vital role in promong this event. We are asking that ALL vendors help promote the Sale via their Facebook, lists, Twier, Instagram and word of mouth as much as possible. To make it easy and consistent we will provide you various professionally designed graphics that you can use to share on your social networks. We want this to be a success for everyone! Booth Sharing: Sharing a booth must be approved at the me of you applicaon and photos will be reviewed separately. You must list your co-vendor when applying. Show Set-Up: Vehicles must be unloaded and promptly moved to the designated vendor parking area. Set-up may then begin. Your tent must be secured and ed to the ground. IMPORTANT NOTICE: NOTHING CAN BE ATTACHED TO ANY STRUCTURE ON THE PREMISES. ALL BOXES AND STORAGE MATERIALS MUST BE STORED OUT OF SHOPPERS VIEW. ALL BOOTHS MUST BE COMPLETELY SET UP BY THURSDAY, APRIL 28TH BY 4 PM. SET UP TIMES FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27 ARE 8 AM UNTIL 5 PM; FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 28TH 8 AM - 4 PM. Show Hours and Admission Fees: Show shopping hours for the public are the Preview Sale on Thursday, April 28th from 5 pm unl 8 pm, Cost is $25 which includes a tour of the beauful Jubilee Hills home. Friday, April 29th from 10 am unl 7 pm and Saturday, April 30th from 10 am unl 4 pm. Admission for Friday or Saturday is $10 per person. Vendors are required to be onsite no later than 4:30 PM on Thursday and 9:30 AM on Friday and Saturday. Vendors must be ready to tear down at 4 pm on Saturday. NO EXEPTIONS. Electrical: Electricity is limited and provided at an addional fee of $25. First come first serve. Approval will be based solely upon the date of applicaon. Vendors are responsible for providing all extension cords and all cords must be approved by UL Electrical Standards. All cords must be placed as to not cause a trip hazard. Vendors are responsible for disconnecng cords at the close of the show each evening and cords must be placed inside of booth upon disconnecons. Booth Styling: This show is geared toward customers that love vintage, anques and repurposed items. To keep customers coming back please make sure the items in your booth reflect those styles. Style your booth creavely to encourage sales and draw shoppers to your booth. All folding tables are to be provided by the vendor and must be covered on all visible sides with a cloth that reaches the ground. Any table top displays must be approved. Your booth should be as professional as possible and organized for the ease of viewing. All bock drops or surrounding wall displays must be free standing. Rusted Magnolia Marketplace Commiee reserves the right to request the restyling or removal of any items not keeping with show standards. Vendor Parking: Vendor parking will be marked and located as close as possible to the event booths to help in your booth replenishing. Keep in mind we want to keep the best access possible for customers to shop, therefore, we request you limit moving in large furniture items during show hours that may require a complete restyle of your booth. We have alloed 8 am unl 5 pm on Wednesday, April 28th and 8 am unl 9:30 am on Friday and Saturday, April 29th and 30th for large restyling and replenishment. Vendors will be allowed to store trailers and trucks overnight on the property in the designated area. Vendors are ask to park daily transportaon vehicles in the general parking to limit the traffic throughout the shopping day and allow customers to drive up and pick up large items that they will purchase. 7 Vendor Booth Aendance: We ask that no booth be le unaended at anyme during the sale hours. Volunteers will be available throughout the day to watch your booth for a needed bathroom break, etc. We ask that you limit your me away from your space to 15 minutes to all can take advantage of this assistance. Vendor agrees to the following: Vendor agrees to have business cards readily available with current contact informaon within their booth. Vendor agrees all merchandise will be tagged and priced. Vendor agrees a sales receipt will be provided to all customers for any merchandise sold. We respecully request a minimum of DISPLAY ONLY items (that are not for resale) and said items must be marked accordingly. This does not include construcon materials. Vendor agrees to display forms of payment being accepted within their booth. All vendors must collect their own TN sales tax on purchases. Pets: The ONLY animals allowed on the grounds are Service Animals. All other pets are restricted. Smoking/Alcohol: Smoking and Alcohol will be strictly prohibited on Event Grounds. Security: Event Coordinators will provide adequate security throughout the event (including overnight security). Insurance: Short-term liability insurance policies are usually available through an exisng Homeowners or Business Insurance policy. For your protecon, it is encouraged that each vendor obtains a policy. PLEASE keep all aisles clear and safe for shoppers. Show Tear-Down: Break down begins at 4 pm on Saturday, April 30th. Packing up prior to closing is disrupve and interferes with the enre Sale. All vendors are required to respect the sale hours. Each vendor is responsible for leaving their space exactly as it was found prior to set-up. This includes removal of all trash, packing materials, boxes, hay, etc. There will be trash and recycle bins for disposal. Please make sure to dispose of ALL trash to the designated are before leaving. Load out must be completed by 8 pm on Saturday, April 30th. Vendor Agreement Addendum s: The Rusc Magnolia Marketplace reserves the right to make changes or addions at any me to this agreement.
