2 Summary of the 4 step assessment process Step 1 2 hour Introduction to Assessment Step 2 Agree on portfolio evidence (2 Hrs) Step 3 Coaching to gather portfolio of evidence Step 4 2 hour workplace Assessment Receive credit towards a Masters in Project Management University of Adelaide Australian PM AIPM RegPM Qualification awarded Certification awarded And / or On line bridging course with UA STEPS TO PERFORM EACH OF THE KEY SERVICE ACTIVITIES Step 1 Introduction to Workplace Assessment This is conducted as a group briefing sessions, for 2 hours METHOD: OUTCOME: Workshops will be organised in groups between participants to give them an overview of the assessment objective, the overview of the qualification framework, the benefits for the Company and for the individual, the process involved including the appeals processes. A presentation briefing to cover the following topics Background to workplace assessment and coaching Organisational aspirations for Project Managers Overview of the PM qualification

3 Benefits of workplace assessment and coaching Assessment Process (maximum ** months) Step 2 Agree on portfolio evidence This step will take the candidate and the assessor to agree on the type and level of evidence that the candidate will present during the formal assessment in step 4. METHOD: OUTCOME: The candidate and the assessor will review and agree on the type and level of evidence required by the candidate to develop to demonstrate his / her competency in Project management at the AQF level being assessed on. An agreed forms of evidence that the candidate will prepare for the formal assessment. If gaps are identified, this may lead into project management development paths. Suggested development paths could be Additional Reading (I.e. PMBoK 2004) Project Management Training Coaching On the job experience Step 3 Coaching and gathering evidence portfolio Coaching is available to participants to gather their portfolio of evidence METHOD: An initial one on one interview will be conducted with the candidate by bluevisions staff to obtain agreement on the suitable qualification level. This is the opportunity to agree on the form of evidence to be provided to the Assessor during the formal Assessment. To assist the candidate, coaching is available to participants to gather their portfolio of evidence for the formal Assessment OUTCOME: Record of initial interview The candidate will be provided ONE-on-ONE coaching to gather the evidence This coaching session will help to fill the potential GAPS in the competency of the candidate

4 Agreement on the level (4,5 or 6) to be assessed Agreement on the evidence to be provided by the candidate Step 4 Workplace assessment METHOD: OUTCOME: A 2 hour formal assessment with the candidate In a secured and quite environment, the candidate is interviewed by bluevisions qualified Assessors and the candidate presenting their portfolio of evidence. The candidate will be informed whether they are competent, partially competent or not yet competent. Appeals process is re-iterated to the candidate to ensure fairness of the assessment process. Evidence is provided by the candidate Competent, Partially Competent or Not Yet Competent decision is made Appeals process (if judged Not yet competent) is re-iterated The Assessor will sign off interview report.
