Community: Joy Christian School was founded by Community Church of Joy in Glendale, Arizona as a mission to the community of Glendale and the Phoenix area. Experiencing rapid growth over the last few years, Joy has seen the need for a strong Christian high school in this area. The high school opened its doors in August of 2006 with a freshman class and celebrated its first graduating class in May, Accreditation: Joy Christian High School is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Curriculum All courses are aligned with state and common core standards with Biblical integration. AP courses are aligned with College Board requirements as well as meeting state and common core standards.
