1 Ms. Mascaro is passionate about Christian Education and has a Bachelor s Degree from Valley Forge Christian College as well as a Master s Degree from Thomas Edison State College. She has been in Christian education for 30 years, taught 22 years as a teacher. She has been a part of CCA for 14 years, nine of which being the Administrator to our wonderful Knights. This will be her 11th year here. She loves to sing, read and travel, but her favorite activity is spending time wither her three grandchildren. She has been married to Michael for 33 years. 2 Mrs. Pulham has been teaching for nine years and this will be her seventh year teaching at CCA. She has an Elementary Education degree from Clearwater Christian College. She is so thankful for the opportunity to reach young lives for Christ. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is very excited to join the team of teachers at CCA to teach first grade. She has her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from USF. She has three children and loves the outdoors. 3 Miss Wood graduated from Clearwater Christian College with a degree in Elementary Education in December She has been a teacher at CCA since January of 2015 and is looking forward to starting her second school year here. Miss Willoughby has been teaching for five years and this is her first year at CCA. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Utah. She is currently working on her masters degree and should finish December She enjoys reading and going to the beach. Miss Willoughby loves teaching students about how much Jesus loves them. She is elated to join the staff of Countryside Christian Academy this year! She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. 4 Mrs. Syrstad has taught for nine years, with eight of those here at CCA. She holds a Bachelor degree, an ACSI certification, and is pursuing a masters degree. She enjoys reading, swimming, traveling, photography, and dogs. Mrs. Syrstad enjoys making subjects more interesting with projects, acting, and trips and loves to see an excitement for learning from her students. She loves math and science because they show the order and creativity of God. This will be her third year teaching at CCA and her 17th year of teaching. 5 Mrs. Simons is in her fifteenth year of teaching. This is her fourth year at CCA. She earned her Bachelor degree from Radford University and her Master degree from USF. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching Braves baseball, and sharing Christ with CCA middle school students. 6 Cynthia Mackintosh has a strong passion for travel, cultures, and making memories last forever by scrap booking. She absolutely loves teaching children Spanish and its diverse cultures. This is her tenth year teaching and it has all been at CCA! She has a Bachelor degree from Eckerd College in International Business and is ACSI certified. Singing is another passion. Ms. Johnston has been in Christian Education for more than 25 years and this will be her seventh year at CCA. She has studied at Faithway Baptist College and is currently studying at St. Petersburg College. Her passion is Christian Education and reaching children for Christ. 7 Mrs. Ainlay has taught in Education for 18 years and five years here at CCA. She is dedicated to Christian Education and helping her students with their walk with Christ. She comes from the Art Institute of Denver with a degree in photography and is excited to begin investing in students at CCA. Mrs. Lewis is coming back to Christian Education after several years spent homeschooling and doing translation and customer service work. She has a Bachelor degree and over five years of elementary, ESL, and foreign language teaching experience. She brings with her a strong interest in promoting cross-cultural understanding and communication, as well as a vision for missions. 8 Mrs. Hirsch comes to the Academy with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a passion for art. Her previous eight years include teaching art, giving private lessons, judging polychromatic art, speaking at teachers conventions, and authoring a teachers guide on creating art in the classroom - to be published Spring She heads up the CCA Fine Arts Studio and is preparing our students for the ACSI Fine Arts Competition.
