6 THE BUZZ TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS AND WORKING OVERTIME The Charlotte Hornets improved to 5-0 in overtime games this season, taking down Sacramento in double-overtime on 1/25, The Hornets have now started the season winning five-straight in overtime games for the first time since the season when the team started and finished a franchisebest 5-0 in extra period contests. Charlotte is tied for the most wins in overtime in the season and is the only team to have won more than three games and still be undefeated in all their overtime games. The team is averaging the second-most points in the NBA in overtime (17.6), only behind the Detroit Pistons (20.3). TRIGGERIN TROY DANIELS Hornets guard Troy Daniels notched a career-best 28 points in the double overtime victory at SAC on 1/25, tying a franchise single-game record with eight three-point field goals made (last time, eight, Ben Gordon vs. Portland 12/3/12). Over the last four games, Daniels has been averaging 15.3 points, 3.8 three-pointers per contest on 62.5 percent from downtown and 3.0 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game.
