7 USACE Enterprise Lessons Learned System Optimos Content & Collaboration Management Practice has helped organizations realize the potential of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 by delivering collaboration and content management solutions that meet critical business needs. Optimos is working with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) to implement an enterprise-wide lessons learned system using SharePoint. As part of its USACE 2010 strategic initiative, USACE seeks to reengineer the organization and break down barriers to enable sharing of best practices. Optimos strategy included implementing a process, which coincided with a Communities of Practice model and merged specific resources in a shared services model available to USACE field engineers.
