4 Who is INVEST IN SPAIN is the Directorate in charge of attracting foreign direct investment in ICEX-Spain Trade & Investment. The Secretary of State for Trade is our president (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness). Its goal is make easier the internal communication between Invest in Spain/ICEX and the regional IPAs This tool facilitates the joint management of investment projects, of promotion activities and exchange of information (news, documentation, databases ) This tool was created in 2007 and it is used by all the IPAs in Spain

28 Know investment projects managed by Invest in Spain/ICEX and present candidacy INVEST IN SPAIN Invest in Spain/ICEX has an application aimed at internal management of queries and projects (dossiers) When projects, for its degree of maturity in the decision on Spain or for explicit request of the potential investor, they are sent for its publication in platform CC.AA. Regional IPAs receive an alert in the , warning them of new information published in platform Information is only seen by those Regional IPAs that fit the investors preferences
