2 Conduct evaluations Train evaluators The context matter Being the INSP a center of teaching and research..a natural step was engaging in capacity building activities in evaluation In the early 2000s, INSP emerge as one of the major evaluation organizations in Mexico Capacity building in evaluation Conduct evaluations
3 In 2004, INSP established a collaboration agreement with Measure Evaluation to offer a regional workshop in impact evaluation and to support the creation of an evaluation track in the master's degree program Since then, capacity building activities in evaluation have also benefited from a process of institutionalization The demand and supply of courses on evaluation topics has grown significantly
4 Nowadays INSP has 10 evaluation courses offered internally to the master's and doctoral degree students At different levels, different topics and methodological approaches Introductory and advanced Quantitative, qualitative, with mixed methods approach Focus on design, process, monitoring, impact and economic evaluation Some specialize in specific areas or audiences Nutrition, reproductive health, economics Science postgraduate or professionalizing students Managers in evaluation
