1 - AMIA NOTICE FOR WAA FORESTRY AND AGRONOMIST VOLUNTEERS FOR EXPO LAUNCH OF THE WAA FORESTRY AND AGRONOMIST VOLUNTEERS FOR EXPO 1. BE A WAA FORESTRY AND AGRONOMIST VOLUNTEERS for EXPO2015 The great MILAN EXPO 2015 event on the theme of "feeding the planet, energy for life" will have agronomist and forestry professionals of the world as preferential partners. The World Association of Agronomists (WAA) is taking part in the exhibition as a "Civil Society Participant" with its own exhibition space named: "The Agronomist Global Farm Lab 2.0". Global farm represents the unit of measure for assessing the well-being of the planet where the different environmental and production components are measured. The Farm Lab 2.0 is a workshop that fits into land and business contexts where new products, new methods and new processes are being developed through the work of agronomists. The Pavilion presents the contextual representation of the participation of the World Association of Agronomist in which the issues, practices and innovations of Global Farm are featured. Because of the importance of the themes and the level of involvement of the agricultural and forestry sector, the Worldwide Association of Agronomists (WAA) and The National Agronomist and Forestry Council (CONAF), delegated to develop the project proposal for the participation of WAA in EXPO 2015, believe they must put in place the best organisational and human resources available to the sector: Qualified persons, who are willing to devote part of their time to contribute to the organisation and management of one of the most important events of the past few years, an exhibition spanning one million square metres, "a veritable journey around the world through the flavours and traditions of the peoples of the Earth". The WAA and CONAF offer agronomy and forestry specialists and university students the opportunity to participate in one of the biggest events of the century.

2 - AMIA If you decide to become a Forestry and Agronomist Volunteers for Expo, you will also have a unique experience and play an important role in the dissemination and transfer of agricultural proposals for sustainable growth and for the design of models of food production that are sustainable and lasting You will not only share in the success of the event, but you will acquire skills, experience new experiences, discover different production companies and build a network of relationships in a multicultural context. 2. WHO IS THE WAA AGRONOMIST AND FORESTRY VOLUNTEERS FOR EXPO EXPO Volunteers will constitute an important front for the professional sector and will play a key role in the success of the event and the communication of project proposals of agronomists. Two categories have been earmarked: 1. STUDENT VOLUNTEERS: College students or recent graduates who will support CONAF in carrying out activities inside the Hall who will support WAA FORESTRY AND AGRONOMIST VOLUNTEERS for EXPO mainly in material handling. They will provide support to CONAF for logistics activities related to communication and event handling. 2. WAA AGRONOMIST AND FORESTRY VOLUNTEERS for EXPO: Agricultural or forestry professionals who will support WAA-CONAF in managing scheduling events and welcoming visitors and participants to the exhibition space "The Agronomist Global Farm Lab 2.0". The WAA Agronomist and Forestry FOR EXPO, will conduct guided tours of the Agronomy Pavilion, whenever there are groups that request them, and will accompany visitors on thematic itineraries prepared by CONAF

3 - AMIA highlighting the role of agronomists in design aspects of farms in the world and in their evolution in time and space; excellent communication skills on the itinerary themes are required. Knowledge of the site of the exhibition area and the itinerary routes is crucial and this can be acquired on the spot on the first day alongside "expert" of the previous period. Guided tours will be conducted based on bookings for groups of people on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 1 ; on other days, the volunteer will provide services for other activities including acting as guide for popular, short-term itineraries. Thus the applicant needs to stay in Milan for his/her selected period. All activities must be shared and related to CONAF EXPO Committee (CEC). 3. HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER Becoming a Volunteer means investing a little of your time to make a great experience, meeting and embracing the world that will come together in Milan, conveying the agronomists' message of design culture and social responsibility. All activities must be shared and related to the CONAF EXPO Committee (CEC). 4. STUDENT VOLUNTEERS: 4.1. Requirements: Student or graduate in a field of study that gives you the possibility of entering the profession of doctor of agronomy/forestry 1 The days are liable to change according to demands that may be made for a better organisation of the guide service

4 - AMIA Organisational and relational skills Knowledge of computer and communication tools (social networks, Skype, etc.) Good knowledge of two languages with at least one being one of the official EXPO languages (Italian and English) level A2 Continuous availability for the duration of the chosen period (15 days) Applicants are required to stay in Milan for the period selected Reimbursement of expenses: Each student volunteer will be guaranteed reimbursement of costs incurred during the period of activity, in accordance with reimbursement ceilings, on presentation of supporting documents and prior sharing with the CEC, as governed by CONAF Regulations. This does not include the cost of transfer to and from the place of residence. The student volunteer will also be given a pass for free admission to EXPO MILANO 2015 for the duration of the chosen period Ways to take part: To apply, simply fill out the appropriate form on the website at Applicants will be selected who satisfy the stipulated requirements; their suitability will be assessed on the basis of the CV provided and a brief interview. Any interviews will be held in Rome at the headquarters of CONAF in Via Po 22 or at the operational headquarters in Milan on days that will be established and published on the site. 5. WAA AGRONOMIST AND FORESTRY VOLUNTEERS FOR EXPO

5 - AMIA 5.1 Requirements: Inclusion in the register of doctors of agronomy and forestry 2 Organisational and relational skills Knowledge of computer and communication tools (social networks, Skype, etc.) Good knowledge of two languages with at least one being one of the official EXPO languages (Italian and English) level B1 Continuous availability for the duration of the chosen period (15 days) 5.2 Reimbursement of expenses: Each WAA Forestry and Agronomist for EXPO will be guaranteed reimbursement of costs incurred during the period of activity, in accordance with reimbursement ceilings, on presentation of supporting documents and prior sharing with the CEC, as governed by CONAF Regulations. This does not include the cost of transfer to and from the place of residence. WAA Forestry and Agronomist for EXPO will also be given a pass for free admission to EXPO MILANO 2015 for the duration of the chosen period. The training will be held in the Pavilion of agronomists in the days leading up to the opening of the EXPO.
