17 STAHA & Electronics Industry STAHA has supported Finnish electronics industry with ESD risk control. The driving companies were for example; NOKIA, NOKIA Siemens Networks, ABB, Flextronics, Perlos, Elcoteq, International operations (USA, China, Europe, ) The main focus is nowadays with small-medium size companies Advanced laboratory services and ESD protective materials are now available Detailed technical guidelines and ESD control programs are now available and in use Wide expertise and services with ESD protection activities

19 STAHA & Process and Chemical Industry STAHA run projects where ESD risks and challenges have been mapped in chemical and process industry The main focus has been with detection and prevention technologies in an early design phase STAHA members and co-operation partners have deep knowledge of the specific ESD related risk in process and chemical area Specific knowledge of the personnel safety in ATEX environments

20 STAHA & Military The Finnish defence forces has participated in STAHA operations from the beginning ATEX environments Communication tools, electrical equipment, radar and vehicle maintenance operations Material charging and immunity tests STAHA and the partners of the association have supported defence forces with training events and by providing technical information
